Yeah congrats to K-Rod!!!
I wonder how high he will "set the bar...."
I am guessing (65ish)

He won't get over 65 saves.

Two word:

Big raise

Now will the Angels being willing to pay it? Probably, but he will be getting a lot of money.

or the Mets might get him which means I can't root for him to do too well. With poor Billy Wagner injured for what is most likely his career, the Mets need a closer and they need someone like K-Rod. He is without doubt one of the three best closers playing right now (I'm not talking about career, I'm talking about current ability. That's why Hoffman and several others aren't there). The best three are Lidge (perfect this year for the Phillies!) Mariano (Under 1 ERA I believe and I think he's been better then K-Rod, he's saved for 35 of 40 oppurtunities and has had 36 oppurtunies himself) and K-Rod (who had saved 58 or something out of 80 Angel oppurtunities, he hasn't been used nearly as much as he could have been). If Mariano had the oppurtunities, I think he'd be even better. Still, its very impressive and as much as I don't like the kid, he's got a lot of talent and the Mets need him. The Angels have a good bullpen, although the Mens do have Heilman. K-Rod just shouldn't get payed what Mariano is because Mariano is getting payed in thanks for the best relieving carreer in history. He's performed so well that he's more then earned it this year.

Mets are my other favorite team, coincidentally.

Really, there normally my second. Because they got rid of Randolph (though I like Manuel), they've become my number 4 team for the year behind the Yanks, Rays, Dodgers, and then Mets.
I probably can't root for the Rays next year so I'm hoping they (or the Cubs to break the so called goat "Curse") win the World Series while I still lik em' haha. Their getting too good and competitive. I'll root for them for the wild card and all, but nothing more.

Rodriguez is the more explosive closer vs. Rivera, which also makes him more vulnerable (can I say, Hot Head ability?) Rivera tries to weather the storm quietly while K-Rod uses it as fuel to his fire, which is dangerous but very fun to watch.

The two are practically opposites, they both get the job done in their way.

Which one haha?
Has K-Rod had any post-season experince? I know he has at least once, but how much?
