It's not really the avatar, although that is part of it. It's the level of grammar with which he speaks. Plus he's not bumping old topics, double posting, or anything. (yet :P )

Hello everyone, I'm HunterFox. I was introduced to Power Pros a few years back when I received MLBPP'07 as a gift. At first looking at the box art, I couldn't help but worry the game might be bad because it "looked" bad. Let me tell you, I could have not been any more wrong with my initial impressions based on the box art. The gameplay (especially pitcher and hitter interaction) reminded me of "Major League Baseball featuring Ken Griffey Jr" from the days of the N64, and I fell in love with the game immediately. The next year when Power Pros '08 came out, I just HAD to get it. I was surprised to see there was no commercial on TV for it, as there had been one for '07 (I only found out about '08 by accidentally stumbling upon it at GameStop). To this day, I firmly believe that Power Pros is the best simulation style baseball video game franchise out there. That said, I still enjoy Success mode and MLB Life mode a lot to this day, and I hope Konami releases more Power Pro games in the future in North America.

Welcome, Hunter. Glad to see there are still other big MLBPP fans out there.

Hello,

I'm cbassian here, known as cbass elsewhere, and I've known dishnetkid for quite a while from another site, simyard.com, which is no longer with us. I acquired a copy of MLBPP 07 (PS2) about a month ago from GameStop for $1.25 because I knew he played the game and it sounded interesting. I have to say, it is the best buck and a quarter I have ever spent. I used to own 08 for NDS, but had traded it in a long time ago. Anyway, I plan to contribute here with a slew of Success Mode players I have made, some themed, some jut built the way I wanted them for balance sake.

Thanks for having me aboard,
cbassian

I have used a few of your players already. And yes, I plan to get 08 as soon as I find it cheap.

Unrelated note: Does anyone have a good picture of Mark Wiseman? I'd like to use him as my avatar.
