Besides MLB Power Pros 2008 of course. ;)

I'm anxiously awaiting Star Wars: Force Unleashed and its duel mode. The controls look great (nunchuck for powers, wiimote for sabre) and it looks like they put a lot of work into the story mode. They are going about it like they are making Star Wars 3.5.

I want the Lego Indiana Jones game. I love the Lego Star Wars games, and hope this one will be as much fun.

MrSims, you watched the new one when it came out yesterday then? My wife and I were intending to see it next week, is it pretty bad?

Here are the games I've got on my radar, keeping in mind that the Wii is played not just by me but also by my wife, 9 and 6 year olds, and even my 4 year old is starting to play a little under supervision. I won't necessarily buy all of these, they're just ones where the descriptions have at least struck enough interest to take a closer look. I look at the IGN upcoming releases page fairly regularly - http://wii.ign.com/index/release.html

* MLBPP 2008 (definite buy)
* Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (definite buy)
* LEGO Indiana Jones (definite buy)
* Mario Kart (I know it is out already, but I just ordered it this week and am waiting on Amazon to deliver it still)
* Boom Blox (out already, probably will order it for the kids in a few weeks)
* Wii Fit - actually got this Tuesday, but I have only gotten to spend about 30 minutes with it myself so far (granted I opted to spend 4 hours on MLBPP last night instead -lol-)
* Wii Ski (sounds like this is killer with the balance board, which we've already got - need further research before deciding)
* Top Spin 3 (excited for a more involved tennis game, but won't buy before knowing how well the motion controls work)
* Don King presents Prizefighter (ditto my Top Spin comment)
* de Blob (definite buy for the kids)
* Monster Lab (needs further research as more info comes out on it)
* We Love Golf (I've got Tiger 07, but the gameplay is too slow and the motion controls are iffy with putting - need more research on this one)
* Madden 09 (will wait to see how much different it will be than Madden 08)
* Animal Crossing Wii (most likely will buy, need more info on it)
* BlastWorks (my 9 year old thinks this one looks cool, I need to do more research)
* Pajama Sam: Don't Fear the Dark (possibility for my 6 and 4 year olds, needs more research)

NO SPOILERS IN THIS POST!!!

Yeah, I saw it. It was the first time I've had a chance to go to the movies in almost a year (I think) and I would ALMOST put it in the same categories as the newer Star Wars movies. Although this movie wasn't quite as bad as Episodes I-III, I was still let down and Indiana Jones will sadly remain in my household the same as Star Wars.... a trilogy. I don't want to say too much without giving anything away; that's a HUGE pet peeve of mine. But I will say it had its moments and started out nicely, but the second half left a bad taste in my mouth. Keep in mind I'm speaking of it in terms of the previous Indiana Jones movies, which I regard as classics. Not a horrible movie by any means, but it falls very short of capturing the magic of the previous three. If you like Indiana Jones a lot I would still see it; you and your wife could definitely do worse.

I hope you like it, but it just didn't do it for me.

Hmm... I guess I should post something relative to this thread. There's not much announced that I'm really looking forward to other then Power Pros (Wii), Castlevania (DS), and maybe Etrian Odyssey II (DS). But I'll be real happy if they announce they're bringing the Myst games to Wii like they've been teasing they are.

Little League World Series is coming out soon. It definitely won't replace Mlbpp but some of the pics sparked my interest a little. Looks similar to power pros but with better graphics.
I loved this game on Nes.

And whats up with Cocoto Kart Racer?
I think that game already came out. It was called Mario Kart, and it's the best racing game in the world!

I can cross a few of the games off my list from earlier, upon further review they didn't make the cut.

Since then I have picked up Mario Kart, Lego Indy Jones, and Wii Fit. I haven't actually played the Lego game yet, just watched my 9 and 6 year olds play. Looks like they made it enough to different from Lego Star Wars while still keeping the familiar gameplay feel. Haven't gotten to getting Boom Blox just because there hasn't been enough time yet to get bored with the new games we have.

I got a reservation now on Lego Batman, so hopefully it doesn't suck. Not sure how it is going to be setup.

Definitely looking forward to the Star Wars game..playing as Darth Vadar and throwing people around with the force?? awesome.

I was thinking about MarioKart, but I have the gamecube one and never play it...and the steering wheel seems kind of silly. I do want to eventually pick up Metroid and Mario Galaxy...and Rayman Raving Rabbids 2.

But honestly, I have Zelda and MLB: The Bigs and the first Rayman, along with Wii sports and Wii play...with MLBPP being so fun, and '08 coming out around the corner, I never even play the other games I already own!!

Just a heads up, in my opinion raving rabbids 2 wasn't nearly as good as the first one.
