So, I declared a coaching minor along with my journalism degree yesterday. I also found out that, including the 65 credits I already have, I need a minimum of 122 credits to graduate with both my major and my new minor.

I'm taking 12 this semester, and I might plan on taking 15 in the Winter...

Lord help me, I'm going to be in school for at least 3 more years...I can already see the debt piling up...ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Hopefully this doesn't come off as too braggy or anything, but because of all the credits I'm coming in with from high school (39) there's a good chance I'll be able to graduate in 3 years. So I'm pretty excited about that

congrats on the AP stuff man. I was in a few AP classes, but by the time senior year came around I was completely disengaged academically. I floated through and didn't even take the AP classes. It would've scored me some credits, but I was able to test out of so much (foreign language, English, etc) that it was almost OK.

To be that plugged in and attentive after 13 years of school and social issues...good for you!

Currently pissed at my school because they make it as hard as they possibly can to get into the gym during the summer... They say it's open everyday from 7-3 but you need adult supervision if you're not in high school. And they also lock every door going into the gym so I'm not sure how they expect us to get in. :? Honestly becoming tempted to try going to one of the nearby rival schools because they let you in whenever :(

I moved into my dorm Saturday. Then had a real interesting first night. Then today was my first day of classes, which was pretty boring to be honest

I've heard that it's a good idea to buy earplugs and get used to wearing them when you sleep. Best of luck tho

I got probably 3/4 of my stuff packed today in preparation for move-in day on Friday.

first three months or so of senior year is hellish but then the rest of it was probably the best times of my life thus far. Keep Holdin' Out Hope, Baby.

Starting tomorrow at CCC, a 2-year college that I'll transfer out of. I'm majoring in Business for now, with an eye on international studies / minor in foreign language. My grades & extra-curriculars weren't good enough to make it in to a 4-year but it doesn't cost as much to go here and it'll be a smooth transfer to Rutgers-Camden for my last two years if I so choose. But I'm considering studying abroad / foreign exchange or even applying to an international university in a few years - if possible - as well. I was glad to hear some of my close friends are going too; it's the nearby college and cheap for everybody along with the transfer option.

As it turns out the campus is kinda big like I thought, but not mind-blowingly.. I'm also just bad with directions so I find it huge. I'll only be going to three different buildings, two for most classes and one for Intro to Business. Even though most people attending take two to four classes a semester - usually Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday - I'm gonna have class until the weekend. I know they'll be harder than high school but there's at least less and I can sleep more, get out earlier, and maybe work in the afternoon once I get another job.
