OMG... I'm soooooooooooo tempted to buy Out of the Park Baseball '14 right now. It's half off at $20 and I just got $25 from my aunt for Chirstmas...

does anyone have experience with this game???

The natives are getting restless on my Facebook and Twitter because every other school in our county (including the ISD) has closed for tomorrow, and my city's school district AND my college hasn't closed yet.

Playing OOTP '14, and it is awesome!

As of June 1st, 2013, I have the Brewers at 31-23, 1/2 GB of the first place Reds but in the second wild card spot. Khris Davis is tearing it up, but he doesn't play CF and I have no other room in my outfield with Braun and Aoki. Mike Fiers has also been playing really well, with a 3.03 ERA and a 6-2 record.
The Phillies are the best team in baseball at 35-20( ).

It would be really easy to make a log out of this game.

I've heard a lot of good things about OOTP. I hear they're working on the new version right now for the next season.

And, I think, if you want Khris Davis to play, you may want to think about trading Aoki. Preferrably to the Tigers. They need a good LF.

I dunno... Aoki is doing well too. Wish this was like Power Pros and I could just convert him to 2B.

Also, it kinda sucks that I picked the Brewers because this game is so oriented on the future and building and the Brewers have the 27th(iirc) farm system according to the game.

I take it that at the beginning of the game, Corey Hart is the Brewers 1B? Otherwise, if this was PowerPros, you could convert Aoki there.

And, yeah, a lot of the higher-tier sims out there are focused on development and the future of the team. I'm thinking of getting the new version of OOTP when it comes out to try it out, maybe watch a couple tutorials, and see what I can do with the 2014 Tigers (if I choose to do that).

btw, what's the Tigers' Minor League rank in that game? I'd assume it's near the bottom, but with Castellanos and (I presume) Garcia, it could be bumped up a couple spots.

Yeah, I didn't know that '14 was released way back in April, otherwise I prolly would've waited for '15. Oh well.

And yes, Hart was out for the first 6 weeks or something, but he just came back and has been batting about .315 in his first 2 weeks.

'14 has the Tigers prospect system ranked at 10th. The Brewers are 28th.

Dang three in a row??? We go back tomorrow. Double snow day for me to start the week. But I guess it wasn't snow, it was cold weather.

Yeah, Monday was a snow day but today and tomorrow were called due to the cold.

You get closures for cold weather?

Rarely, but I'm not going to complain about it.
