No D1 interest for me, rip, but I have a half-tuition offer from San Francisco State that I will probably end up taking in a couple weeks.

As for the competition we play, we're Division 6 (out of 7) so we don't have great competition, but we're not playing teams that are awful. The team I had my best game against, which was yesterday (against Bradshaw Christian, I threw a 2-hit CG shutout with 13 K's), actually beat a team that beat a Division 1 team from the same city that I live in. So that team is actually pretty good and has beat other D1 teams that are really good such as Elk Grove High (a really good D1 team). So yeah, my best game came against our best competition which was pretty cool.

Yeah, I'm playing at a D3 school, so no athletic scholarship, but I got academic money so it's all good :}

I haven't been gunned lately, but I was averaging between 81 and 83 last July, so I'm assuming I'm probably averaging in the 82-85 range now

I'm doing great! Baseball is going well, just threw 5 shutout innings against the number 1 team in the state. Unfortunately we lost because the pitcher after me got lit up for 5 runs in the last 2 innings. Trying to decide whether to commit to Johns Hopkins or NYU.

On the subject of baseball, I was offered my first scholarship today. From the shitty D2 school that is Mercy College lmao. Not gonna play ball in college so its gonna be awkward telling their coach that.

So, the coaches at UOP talked the admissions office into giving me $15,000 extra in academic scholarship lol. My academic offer went from $18k to $33.5k and that would bring the cost from $39k to about $23.5k so I'm stoked because thats affordavle. I may be looking to commit there in the next few weeks if nothing else happens.

So proud of you Zero, they grow up so fast
