Oh yeah, I got my PSAT score today! I got a 670 in Critical Reading. I only missed one question, but I omitted six others. I'm surprised I did that well, honestly. In math I got a 710. That is a great score in any regard, however, I know I can get a perfect score on it! Of the three questions I missed, one was because I misread the question, and the other two were just basic arithmetic mistakes. Then on Writing (a.k.a. grammar) I got a 490, which is pretty meh, I guess. The average score for this section is 488, so I'm basically just average here. For the real SAT, I think I'll need to study this part. Thankfully, this portion is sometimes not looked at by colleges, so that could be helpful.

So overall, that means I have a score of 1870. I only know one other sophomore that has beaten me so far, and she got a 1920. However, my score isn't quite good enough for National Merit Scholars, so oh well. A 1870 is still plenty good for my first time

I love my Science Class. A couple weeks ago we got to make mini hot air balloons, and today we got to fly them because it was not A) windy or B) freezing. My groups surprisingly was the best. The surprising was that it was 5 boys in my group, and all the girls in the other. We actually convinced the teacher to have our balloon framed (which I guess in an accomplishment. I'm not quite sure)

I guess that sorta makes up for trading Gentry.

So one of your favorite players is a .225 hitter with 10 career home runs?

I like players even if they aren't good. Is that a problem?

I'm assuming he's a favorite of yours for a reason - played for your high school or another local team, has some local ties, or something like that? Or his name is Case?

I'm curious as to why he is one of your favorite players though.

Brandon Inge is one of my all-time favorite players, hence 15 being my favorite number. Another one of my favorites is the only major leaguer to come out of my high school, though he's more of an AAAA guy than anything else.
