also i feel mildly better so i'm gonna talk about my boyfriend lmao,,,idk what yall want to know but u can always ask questions and shit (also i'm sorry in advance this is gonna be long and gay as shit)

basic info: their name is aspen and they're bi, agender, and they use they/them pronouns. they live in a small town like an hour away from bloomington and i met them through the lgbtq+ youth group (prism) that i'm in and go to twice a week (they only go on thursdays tho bc of work rip). they're 19 and they will hopefully be a freshman at IU next fall (they took like 2 gap years lmao)

we technically met like 10 months ago but i don't think we ever talked until 2 months ago. i was just super shy last year and then summer happened but,,yeah. i remember thinking they were cool last year but i still never said anything. in like september when i came back and started going to meetings again we started talking through a mutual friend (tori, who was also with us all weekend) and by october we started hanging out after prism. aspen and tori and another one of our friends from prism always go out to eat after thursday meetings and i got invited to join them one week (october 12th to be exact). it turned out they were gonna all hang out the next day as well and i got invited to that as well and the rest is history. we basically just kept texting each other after that and on the 25th i woke up to a text from them asking if i wanted to go on a date. (I had been thinking of asking them out for at least a week before that and they had been thinking about it for like ,,, a month) i said yes of course and we went on our first date the next day, and basically since then we've just been hanging out all the time when they're in town (which is basically just thursdays and fridays).

let's see,,,about them actually they're just,, so nice and so funny and we have a lot in common. like they are super into hockey and music and we're both autistic and mentally ill so our relationship was kinda formed on us just mutually supporting and loving each other through all of the shit goin on in our brains,,,and we've progressed from that to like an Actual Couple lmao. we spent 99% of the weekend doing gay shit such as holding hands and cuddling and i literally lost like 12 hours of sleep because i was comforting them in bed and rubbing their back and such. it was so amazing i literally can't get over it
