I'm following, but I don't to be an agent. I'll just cheer quietly and post. I like it so far though!

Who's Lucio Gomez?

He's a game-created player, I think. He may be in the Braves farm system in real life, too.

Update tomorrow!

Update 5/12!

Washington Nationals - 4
Atlanta Braves - 0

WP: Jason Marquis (2-5)
LP: Jair Jurrjens (1-3)
SV:

The first runs came in the top of the first. After a Nyjer Morgan walk and a ground out, Ryan Zimmerman came up and hit Morgan home with a single. After a fly out and another single, Rick Ankiel came to the plate and hit both runners home with a double. A 3-run deficit now for the Braves. Thankfully, that's all they'll get in that inning. In the top of the fourth, here's the announcer: "Jerry Hairston Jr. sends one deep to left, this one is surely gone. Martin Prado will leap and thi-HE CAUGHT IT! Martin Prado has robbed Hairston of a home run!" But then in the top of the eighth, Jayson Werth hits one deep off of Lucio Gomez and this one will not be robbed as it leaves, so 4-0 now Nationals. And the Braves get shut out in this one, 4-0.

Washington Nationals:
Jason Marquis: CG, 7 H, 0 R, 5 K, 0 BB
Jayson Werth: 1-3, HR, RBI, BB

Atlanta Braves:
Jair Jurrjens: 5 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, BB
Freddie Freeman: 1-4

Update 5/18

(19-25) Atlanta Braves Image
@
(16-26) Arizona Diamondbacks Image

Atlanta Braves - 3
Arizona Diamondbacks - 12

WP: Zach Duke (2-5)
LP: Tim Wakefield (0-2)
SV:

The scoring all started in the top of the second. After consecutive base hits from Heyward and Freeman, McLouth was able to hit a run home with another single. After that, Brandon Hicks comes up and hits Freeman home, and we still have no outs in the top of the second. But the inning will be wasted on a Gonzalez fly out and Wakefield double play. But, the Braves weren't done. In the top of the third, McCann unloads on a fastball and hits one out. The Braves open the lead up to three now. But then, in the next frame, after back-to-back walks and a single (runner out at home), Kelly Johnson unloads on a knuckler from Wakefield to tie it up with one swing. Next, in the bottom of the fifth, after a Nady base hit, Kelly Johnson hits a triple in the alley to get him home, andthe D-Backs take the lead. In the bottom of the sixth, the rookie Konrad Schimdt hit another runner home off of George Sherrill. Next, the pitcher Zach Duke hits another single to score another run, 6-3 now. Justin Upton hits ANOTHER single to make it 7-3 D-Backs. After this, Nady gets ANOTHER hit, to make it 8-3 now. They've seen enough of Sherrill...in comes Lucio Gomez. After a walk, Chris Young hits a sac fly to extend the lead to 6. After this, Stephen Drew hits an INSIDE-THE-PARK home run to make it 12-3. But, that's all either team will get. A terrible showing for Braves pitching.

Atlanta Braves:
Tim Wakefield: 5 IP, 6 H, 4 ER, 2 BB, K
Brian McCann: 1-3, HR, RBI, BB

Arizona Diamondbacks:
Zach Duke: 8 IP, 9 H, 3 ER, BB, 8 K
Xavier Nady: 3-5, HR, 4 RBI

BREAKING NEWS
The 24th was an injury-laden day for the Braves. Tim Wakefield sprained his ankle, and he will be back in 1-6 days. But, the big blow came to Alex Gonzalez. He was hit by a pitch on his finger and he tore a ligament in his finger. He was placed on the 15-day disabled list and is expected to recover in 1-2 months. Brandon Hicks will start in his place in the lineup. In other news, Chipper Jones is slated to come off the 60-day DL in about a week. They think he still has 4-5 months to recover.

Atlanta Braves - 2
Pittsburgh Pirates - 1

WP: Tim Hudson (5-4)
LP: Evan Meek (2-4)
SV: Jonny Venters (16)

The scoring started in the bottom of the second. After a Garrett Jones double, Lyle Overbay drove him in with a single. Nothing else happened until the top of the eighth. After a Freddie Freeman base hit, Nate McLouth crushes one off the top of the foul pole in left to put the Braves on top, 2-1 off of reliever Evan Meek. In the ninth, Jonny Venters came in and shut down the Pirates 1-2-3 to earn the save for the Braves.

Atlanta Braves:
