As the title says, what is your favorite old video game? I don't know how far back most of you have played for, so let's say the game has to be at least five years old, making it so it had to come out before MLB Power Pros. I'll give mine after a few people share their opinions

Easy. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

I think PPfan would have to agree. ;)

And if it has to be from more than 10 years ago, Paper Mario 64.

Probably SSB/SSBM or any of the Madden series.

I believe SSB was the first big title I played since the N64 was my first system.

I played Madden '07 constantly for 2 summers straight. Then I got a Wii...

I think I could still name almost all of the Chargers starters in that game.

Backyard anything. Especially '04 football/basketball and the original baseball one.

I do remember playing the Backyard series but not too much from it. I played it around the time Kingdom Hearts came out, so I guess 2002? I was really young back then so I don't remember much of playing it. The last one I played was Backyard Football '10.

One of my favorite old games (that I still play on my emulator) is Baseball Stars on the NES. I also enjoy Paper Mario 64, too.

The original Backyard Baseball and Soccer
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron

Those were my first games.

Well, mine would be a six way tie between the three original Crash Bandicoot games and the three original Spyro games. The perfect mix of difficulty, simplicity, and replayability, plus the cutesy and good graphics (at least at the time) made the games so outstanding. They are, and forever will be, what got the Playstation brand off and running. It's a shame what's happened to the franchises though, as they were both sold to Activision. After a couple nice spin-offs, the Crash series went downhill quick, to the point where one hasn't been made in a few years. The Spyro series tried to reboot itself with another trilogy, and while they were OK, they didn't have anywhere near the charm or fun of the originals. And then the crap known as Skylanders is just disgusting. Not only did they kill off any chance of getting money out of people who loved the originals with Spyro's new design, they charge an insane amount of money for all the figurines.

Why does everything good have to end?
