Wait, has season 23 not started yet?

Not quite. It's currently in basically Spring Training

In his debut Case Royal pitched 4 innings and gave up 5 runs and got 1 strikeout. 11.25 ERA. Ouch.

On a brighter note, in his debut Giancarlo Martinez went 2-2 with 3 walks. In his next game he would go 1-5. So far he's 3-7 on the season. Which is a .428 batting average.

Wow! And of course some person just comes in and steals my starting RF position, there goes Giancarlo Martinez' career. Anyone want to start a team thatll sign me?

Currently Nicholas Fancyson is batting .368 (7 for 19) with an RBI, and 3 runs scored through his first 4 preseason games.

Pretty good for guys all moving up a level or two, huh?

After 9 games, Nick Fancyson is batting .289 (11 for 38) with 5 runs scored, 5 ribbies, 5 strikeouts, and a .614 OPS.

Last night:

Smith started a game, and pitched 8 innings, allowing 5 hits, 3 walks, and 3 runs while striking out five to earn the win.
Grossman played in 3 games. He was 7 for 13 with a double, 4 RBI, and 4 runs.
McDougal pitched 2 innings of relief, allowing a hit and two walks.

This season Case Royal has started 5 games and is 0-1 with a 1.46 era. Giancarlo Martinez has played in 21 games and is hitting .344 with 0 homers and 8 RBIs.

Grossman's been sitting above the .300 mark consistently.
Smith had a poor first start but rebounded with several quality starts in a row (7+ IP, 3- ER)
McDougal was even worse than Smith in his first start, but his ERA has gone from 10+ to just above 3.5.

In 25 games with the Firestorm Developmental team, Nick Fancyson is hitting .295 (29 for 98) with 12 RBIs, 17 strikeouts, 8 walks, .366 OBP, and .306 SLG. He's hit .529 off lefties and .246 off righties.
