Tuesday

So the bus was late to pick us up so we got to walk into school in style. Turns out the bus driver picked up the other stops before us, and forgot about us, driving to the school before he realized that he forgot us. Other than that it was a mostly boring day besides the fact I got an 83 on my algebra test and a 94 on my orchestra test.

Wednesday

The Trivial Pursuit mini-course we got our lit tests back. Only me and Emma Robbins got 108's. In Social Studies we started a 2 1/2 page DBQ. DBQ stands for document based questions where we read and analyze documents and then write a report on it. This one is about the Magna Carta, Mayflower Compact, and the Fundamental Order of Connecticut. In Language Art my team aced the Jeopardy review over the History of the English Language.

I did a DBQ on the same thing also! I got a 100% on my algebra test, we are doing function stuff and graphing linear equations. I also won a drawing! I won free canes for a year at my school!

In science the teacher is out so be had to roll 20 dice until we got our "population" to 20. 6's and 3's were births and 1's were deaths. So that was logical.

Friday

Mr. Hernandez got tired of people playing games on their laptops during class so he flipped all of the desks backwards so he could see them. Also I "met" my first Mormon. I've known her since elementary school but didn't know she was Mormon

Wednesday

Jake P. got in trouble for playing a game on his laptop during SS. Mr. Hernandez walked over, say the game, and started playing it. When Jake came back in the room he said "Man, I can see why you want to play this during school. Its way more fun." Needless to say he got his laptop taken up for the 9 weeks."

Thursday

Not Much happened today

Friday

I had a science test over ecology which I'm still awaiting the grade from...

Monday

I was the only person in SS to actually work on the unit 1 study guide assigned to us a month ago. Everyone is starting to enter panic mode over how "soon" its due.

Tuesday

Mrs. Archer heard about a petition started by some stupid kids about how they wanted less homework. I didn't sign it put it had about 50-100 signatures on it.

I went to a party at the movies with Emma, Jacob, and 5 other girls I didn't know. We had school off that day to, so it was nice

Monday! yay

I had my name on the announcements for my spectacular performance in Quiz Bowl. Big News of the day is that a kid copied off someone and is at risk of being kicked out of WAVE.

They did that in our study hall but I just move mine back so it's facing the other way and our teacher doesn't care.

Mr. Hernandez pulled me and about a dozen other kids out of advisory today for a top secret G-14 classified meeting. He wants us to go to the Republican Debate at U of H and we are going to email/tweet some candidates/congressmen to ask them to sponsor us. I'm in charge of Randy Weber and Ted Cruz.

Friday

Today was a half day and the end of the grading period. I've finished with all A's for this 9 weeks.

I got a new minicourse called "This Course may change your course" with Mrs. Archer. Its supposed to set us on a life/job course at the ripe old career deciding age of 13.

Tuesday

I went to the Houston Symphony and got to miss school today. They played music made about the time of the Holocaust and an Auschwitz survivor was their and she got a standing applause from the crowd.

Wednesday

I got a messgae from the U of H president telling us to stop emailing her as she has no final information on the debate. Also she said that we'd need to contact other sources to sponsor us, as they do not have control over tickets.
