I think everybody would be. I would just want it to have a different name color than everybody else.

I voted yes, but we're not going to achieve anything in doing this. In the past few times it's been shot down by DarkShade whom has complete authority over us, and honestly, I don't see that changing anytime soon. We are a very good self-moderating forum, the only real reason for doing this is to ban those spambots. Still, I voted yes, as having another 1,000 post spam attack would really suck. |

I'm not opposed to another moderator on this site, I just think if I can quell the bots (today I registered us for the stopforumspam.com database) then we may not need one. I'll be monitoring registrations and if these countermeasures do not work, then I may need to have a new global moderator (though in my absence recently, MaxDSterling did some banning, so who knows?) |

Hey, whatever works to keep such things from happening again. We really were pretty much fine up until the spam attack, so maybe this is just us getting freaked out over it all, but it's always good to have preventative measures in place in some form or another. But yeah, keeping an open mind is good, and whoever's chosen as mod I trust will be fit for the role, whatever it ends up entailing. |

Yeah, sorry, the topic delete was a side effect of my overzealous deleting (you try deleting 1000+ topics 50 at a time and see if you hit some false-positives accidentally :S). I'm pretty on the ball with answering PMs, so feel free to give me a heads up when you spot a spammer. edit: first post in like 3 years, how bout that
