Post subject:  2016 Prospct Ratings, Position Players

I pulled from this list: http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/katohs-t ... ple-years/

I converted the 20-80 scouting scale to the 1-15 PowerPro scale.

Most of these guys won't see any MLB action in 2016, but I thought it would be fun to fill out 40 man rosters with these dudes. Enjoy.

Note: I didn't do Trj, because I'm basically giving them all 2.
Also, I didn't do age because they are almost all 21 or younger.
I didn't rate a few guys from the list because I couldn't find their scouting reports on fangraphs, hopefully they show up at some point.
When a range is shown for a rating, it reflects their current skill level and their projected future ability. When a "+" is on the end of a number, the potential could be even greater in the minds of scouts.

I found that most of these ratings are way under powered, but a good way to start.

The low numbers are the abilities that scouts feel they would display if you stuck them in the majors right now.

The high numbers are what scouts think they will eventually achieve.

They are meant to be players that you build up, like in the minors, like what is actually happening with them right now.

I prefer it over having random greybar dudes.
