HITTERS https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 5c/pubhtml PITCHERS https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... fk/pubhtml If you want to contribute, I'll need to add you to the editors for the spreadsheet. Send me an email address and let me/others know what team you want by posting in this forum. ***FYI: I am a F***ing idiot when it comes to computers and stuff. So if I'm doing something in an unnecessarily complicated way, its because I'm really really really dumb.*** My rating system is as follows: Using JAGs Trajectory, Contact, Power suggestions from viewtopic.php?f=11&t=9585 for Speed I am using this method: (Based on the Fangraphs SPD rating) 7.0 = 15 speed 6.5 = 14 6.0 = 13 5.5 = 12 5.0 = 11 4.5 = 10 4.0 = 9 3.5 = 8 3.0 = 7 2.5 = 6 2.0 = 5 1.5 = 4 1.0 = 3 For Arm/Field/ERes I am using this method: (Based on the Fangraphs DEF rating) 21.0 = 15 18.0 = 14 15.0 = 13 12.0 = 12 9.0 = 11 6.0 = 10 3.0 = 9 0.0 = 8 -3.0 = 7 -6.0 = 6 -9.0 = 5 -12.0 = 4 -15.0 = 3 -18.0 = 2 -21.0 = 1 its a lot of work, but i think i have a system down that will streamline the process so i can actually get teams done in maybe an hour or so apiece. Your input is welcome, especially on the topic of Blue/Red abilities. I have created a column on the spreadsheet for the Red/Blue abilities, but for right now I am mostly just filling in the basics, Contact, Power, Speed....etc Also will get more in depth with salary, age, and finding good comparable players that exist in MLBPP08, so that players like Hunter Pence aren't 25 year olds making the league minimum when they should be 33 year old vets earning $18M |

No they should be 25 year olds. We agreed on that. Plus the Sucess players are all crapped up anyway, but I guess I could find them the right way myself. Also, I would be able to help you with this, if you gave me the permission. |

Not sure if this helps understand my ratings, but one thing I did not mention is that I'm doing a straight 2016 update, not a cumulative update. So, it's just the stats from this year that I'm going off of. I'd love any helpful input you guys might have. |

I guess you're referring to hitting power. There was a power surge around baseball this year. These ratings are reflecting that. |

I don't think we'll know if this power surge is just a blip on the radar until next year, really. However, breaking the game down back to its arcade roots, power was very much overstated with the original roster (I mean, Ichiro had C power. What even?). So, I say, the power should be just fine. BTW, is this just the NL for right now, and you'll get to the AL later? If so, I'd like to try to contribute to the Tigers updates. |

That's Awesome Dish, yes I plan on getting all 30 teams done and I would love to get some help so I don't run out of steam. Just give me an email address--not sure if it has to be gmail or not--and I can add you as an editor. I ask that you please at least do a 25 man roster, and an end of the season 40 man roster would be even better. |

Also, i'd love to get all the playoff teams done first so i can nerd out and stream some simulated playoff games. Giants and Mets done, KFPC is working on Nats, so just seven teams to go! (although either BAL or TOR will be out after tonight anyway) |
