Alright y'all. So I'm playin a game just now, Season Mode, my team versus the Cubs, nothing special there. They got the pitcher hitting ninth, usual stuff there. The game goes to extra innings. Top of the 10th, the pitcher's due up first, then Soriano, the leadoff batter and left fielder. Reed Johnson pinch hits for him and grounds out on the first pitch. In the bottom half of the inning, the game double switches, moving Soriano to third base (???) and putting Johnson in left field, taking Aramis Ramirez out of the game and putting a new pitcher in... the 9 hole. Johnson is somehow moved into the cleanup spot previously occupied by Ramirez. He later singles in the 11th hitting out of the 4 spot. (I won on a pinch-hit, walk-off home run, but that's beside the point.) Any of y'all ever see anything like this?? This is the second time they've switched someone out of their normal position (Eric Patterson came in to play first base in a previous game) so maybe this is a common occurrence...? |

It is a common and this is seen best in MLB Life. AI managers were not programmed well at all. I have seen this in Season Mode too, but not as frequently |

I actually have seen this in MLB Life a decent amount of times, where the pitcher will be pinch hit, double switched, and go back to the 9 spot. |
