Maybe a style like Patrick's, only holding it with the front arm instead.

Almost like a backhand in tennis.

Yeah, that would be cool. That one cut screen, when you really get ahold of one and you watch it sail down the line, would be even better if you just kind of flipped the bat out and started "the trot".

They actually do throw the bat down sometimes. I've also seen them sling it off camera too and give a little fist pump.

There's nothing better than cracking one over the fence off of some guy who's been shutting you out all game, and getting that cutscene. Especially the first pitch of a new inning

There's nothing worse than having some guy cracking one over the fence off of your pitcher who's been shutting them out all game, and getting that cutscene. Especially the first pitch of a new inning.

Happened to me in a 1-1 tie against superstars. A-Rod cranked one to get the lead and win it. It wasn't the first pitch, though. Second or third pitch.

@#*#!*& Superstars. I've stopped trying to beat them. It seems that when I try to get them out, they just bat me around the park or hit bloop flies that the outfielders are too slow to get to. And of course, this always happens in the late innings when I'm leading. Now I just toss fastballs down the middle (unless I'm making a pitcher) and see what they can do with it. The funny thing is, I can usually get most of them to ground out doing that.

It is super annoying that they don't fastballs down the middle.
A couple times, I tried to get mercy-ed to end it quicker, so I just pressed "A" over and over again while watching a show. Lo and behold, they were only up by two in the 6th inning, as they would swing under every pitch expecting a breaking ball. Then when I tied it up by playing for real, and tried pitching they hit me all over the place.

But now, with practice, better players, and the charm and goggles I can beat the 2 out of 3 times, without reloading after a loss.

I don't know if your just a bad hitter or you have very little confidince in your batting ability but U hardly ever use the charm because i hate using lock-on

but hey however you wanna do it

The lock-on helps, but the fielding does more. I hate the "creative" fly ball routes, but it's better than me charging in for one, and having it behind me as Marvin and his "E" speed races (and loses) the ball to the fence. I think I'm improving at fielding now, so I did try it for the first few games, but the lock-on was still worth it.

I want to see more crounched stances like Mo Vaughn's for instance. He had a scary swing.

Tim Lincecum's delivery, if it hasn't already been mentioned.
Joba Chamberlain with the fist pump.
Manny Ramirez, but stands around for home runs.

Definitely Lincecum's windup.

Follow throughs aren't really in the game. The swing just stops at a certain point. If there were follow throughs, it would be awesome and you'd get the full feeling of annoyance when Manny watches his late inning bomb. I might throw my controller if they did have that so maybe it's better they don't.

Joba and the fist pump. every pitcher pumps his fist if he strikes out the last batter and his team's ahead. Maybe they should make Joba do it after every out no matter what.

That reminds me........Lima Time!

I definately want to see more fist pumps. I love seeing that when you strike someone out to send the inning. I have no idea why people can't handle it in real life. :D

I also want them to voice in some more names. I got annoyed with some of my custom characters because I counted choose voices for them... even some of the more generic names. For example, my friend Jonathan's name wasn't in. I could even find Jon or John to work with for a nickname!

Does he also do this when he misjudges fly balls as homers and ends up with a single instead of a double or triple? If not it shouldn't be in the game!

Didn't Chris Sabo have an interesting swing too if I remember right? I'd toss in Andre Dawson too.

As for the fist pumping and standing around looking at fly balls, I'd like to see a Carlton Fisk cut scene that has the ball traveling down the line and the player trying wave it fair.
