What does "S/L" mean? I'm new here, and was just wondering. And can it be used in the Wii version? Thanks in advance.

It means Save/Reload. It's a strategy used by many people here to make maxed-out players by saving and reloading for Gambler's ring, Surprise Bag things, etc.

That means save/load. It can be used in both Wii and PS2.

Anyway, S/L takes alot of time and patiences. Use gambler's tickets first. It trains patiences.

I've never completed a pitcher without it.

Okay, I'm definately going to use it. But one more question, how exactly does it work? Like, how can it make your player better?

Have you ever played Success Mode?

Yes I have, and I have now relized that it was a stupid question.

Some of the most common reasons to reload are:
1. To get higher points from a practice
2. To avoid bad random events
3. To get good random events
4. To do better in a game so your character won't fail
5. To re-open a surprise bag until you get something that isn't worthless
6. To Successfully gamble for stats and abilities
