Looks like really deep, fun and involved story mode.

Good find!

I noticed a few things:

1) Motivation seems to have a 1-10 scale to go along with the smiley face now. (image 97)

2) Image 42 looks like a character creation screen. It appears that now you can select 2 strengths, a drawback(weakness), and their draft position among other things. The six weaknesses for pitchers are on this screen; pretty cool.

3) While you could improve your practice in '07, practices now have levels. (image 36)

4) Here's a big one; image 48 is a pitcher abilities screen. Everything looks just like '07 leaving open the possibility that PWs from the last game might still be functionable. Keep your fingers crossed. And apparently there's a growth chart now (upper right corner).

5) Now I've saved the best for last..... we may have a Marvin sighting! If that's not Marvin in image 24 then it must be his brother, because they look identical.

Oh yeah, Marvin makes his return to wreck some shop prove to the world that he should have been a 79th round pick, not an 80th!

Marvin's back....and he's angry!

I thought for sure the PW's would be incompatible, but this gives hope.

What will be my motivation then to play new success mode, when I already know this one so well now?

From my understanding, none of the Japanesse versions of this game have ever allowed backward compatible passwords, so it is doubtful if they will be included for this version.

also, Marvin will very likely be in the game. He is the only character that has been in every japanesse/american version of the japanesse series.

Looks pretty good. Some nice improvements as far as depth. I'm pretty excited.

Seeing those screenshots is getting me very excited for this to come out. I'll have to stop by Gamestop and see if they are taking preorders already.

Img 22 makes it seem like the 2SFB won't be a pitch.

Another notables:

Image 1:Commands per week, meaning you can do MULTIPLE things per week! practice 3x/ practice 1x, work 2x/work x1, date 1x, sleep....
Image 21: Announcer: Jack Merluzzi. FUDGE! who let this guy back in?!?!?
Image 22,62,97: Possible dates: Lucy, Mia,???
Image 36: Practice in majors seems to go directly towards 1 stat, not to exp points to spread among other things?
Image 39: Seems there's two different types of command screens, one for College/AAA (Image 1), one for majors (this one)
Image 43: Ugh, so many people to make happy!!!
Image 44: Car, House!!!! Donations??? (maybe handing out used crap to fans?)
Image 46: Golf? Maybe it'll improve my bat swing... or ruin it.
Image 48: Interesting little bars underneath each ability, EXP bars? and at least we can see them all now.
Image 78: Seems they extra innings rule is still there. Pitch speed lvl? would help my mom/lil cousins catch up to the pitches I suppose... Roster size (40 man roster!!!)

Crap! I didn't even notice that. I hope they didn't just recycle audio from last year. I'm hoping they let him re-record and fix all those flubs.

I guess he wasn't that bad, it was mainly the script. I pray to god that they make the script better!
