This is probably a long shot, but wouldn't it suck if they released a guide? With Power Pros gaining popularity I would think its possible. Of course, it would be great to know what does what, but it would basically reduce the site to only PW exchanges. Gasp!

I don't know if it's a big enough title for them to release a strategy guide just yet -- I mostly see guides for games like GTA, Mario Kart, Smash Bros., etc. Though if they do make a guide I don't think it would impact us *too* much

In my past research (aka "Googling") I've seen that they do make a guide for this game in Japanese, but I have no idea what level of detail it goes into.

For example: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-lz-49-en-70-2ftu.html

No idea if they'll come out with one in English though. Even if they do, most gamers are too cheap to buy strategy guides anyway :)

Guides always leave things out too. So even if they did print one I would bet that we could find a lot of material left out of it.

Yeah, guides rarely ever tell you how to play better.
Like Super Smash Bros guides, they're just a bunch of lists and stuff. Nothing on how to actually fight well. I had to go to the GameFAQs board to learn some "advanced tactics"

Making me look at that picture of Albert Poo- Hole is bad enough. I think some of his homers off Lidge still have yet to come down.

But if someone was going to do it, wouldn't you rather it was him then someone like... oh, I don't know.... Daryle Ward or Alex Gonzalez? (ouch) ;)

I can't help but wonder about all the Ex Astros that did better when they left:

Julio Lugo
Booby Abreu
Kenny Lofton
Freddy Garcia
Carlos Guillen

I don't need to continue. I'll make myself cry. But yes, I'd rather it was AP than someone else.

I'm sure you'll cheer up when you hear Berkman hit his 15th to win the game today; that man is on FIRE.

Yep. Triple Crown threat in the NL. I'm just waiting for A-Rod to come back - and Mussina, Wang, and Rasner to start. Those guys have been so consistent recently.

he's not as close to returning as A-Rod.

true, but he'll definitely be an offensive upgrade from Molina.
