I've tried to reserve a p2 version of the game for the last few days, and it doesn't seem to exist.

Gamestop, Eb games, toys R us, - none of them show a ps2 version but all show a Wii version. I'll be on a 6 month cruise, and I'm not taking my wii - so I have to check and see if I can find it.

Has anyone else had a problem getting a ps2 version reserved?

The 2nd post on this link says gamestop doesn't take preorders for $20 games.

It isn't even about pre-order. They flat out said they don't have a version coming for ps2.

I probably won't pre-order, I just want to make sure they will be getting the game in, because even at the store, they don't have it listed in their release binder.

Oh, well on 2k's official site it still says they're coming out with it, and the have videos on ign of the ps2 version.

I'd say, just walk in on the 29th and ask for it for the PS2, they'll have copies. Otherwise they are retarded.

Yeah, it definitely is coming out because over at operationsports they are doing a live blog about a conference call that they are listening and asking questions in and they have talked about the ps2 version. here's the link if you want it...

The Gamestop near me is just as stupid. They never update their release binder and some of the workers are too lazy to even bother to check their system. I'm sure it will be there.

EB let me preorder the PS2 version in Canada with no problems.

Yeah, I was completely surprised when they they said this.

To elaborate more on what actually happened... I went in and asked if I could reserve the game, and the fella at the counter went to their computer. He couldn't find it. Didn't mention the Wii version, since he seemed to be looking through PS2 games one could reserve. He only saw other games -- no Power Pros. Then he asked me how much it'd cost. When I said $20, turns out that was the reason why it wasn't in there. Like I said in that one post, I guess they don't take reserves on games that cheap, and in addition, apparently don't add it into their system until it's actually released.

When your GameStop flat-out said they don't have a version for PS2, they likely said that because they didn't see it in their system either, and the employee wasn't aware of the game's existence. I can see why. Power Pros isn't exactly Halo or Metal Gear Solid.
