Yes but...I believe if a guy played only a handful of games in a given year, the game doesn't consider that as a full year of MLB experience. I've seen some "greats" who might, for instance, have actually played 4 full MLB seasons and parts of 3 more seasons, and the game would count their experience as 5 or 6 years.
