I've gotten to thinking recently about something. In my Out of the Park Baseball game, there's an option to create your own ballpark, with different dimensions and whatnot. So, I decided to throw in the Golden Apples Stadium from Power Pros 08 for one of my save files. When I was entering in the dimensions, ball locations, and all that, I came to one thing that got me thinking a bit: wall heights.

I was trying to figure out what the wall heights of that stadium could be, especially the left field and right field walls. The thing is, I don't really know what to put down for them, since Power Pros characters are all one arbitrary height (for the most part) during play, and Power Pros doesn't give out wall heights in its dimensions (understandably). So, what I'm asking is, for Golden Apples Stadium (and frankly, all the fictional ballparks in the game (I'm looking at you, Panpaka Park and your crazy-high left-center wall)), what would you guys put the heights of the walls at? Moreover, what do you think the height of a Power Pros character is?

(I know this is a complicated topic, but I think we could get some good discussion and thoughts out of this.)

Hmm, I think the best way would be to put a player in front of the wall, assume that they're six feet tall, and guesstimate. Like, if the wall was about 4.5 players tall, you could put 27 feet, or something like that

Are you saying it's wrong to talk to a bag of Skittles? Because if so, I'm going to need to rethink a lot of things. :P

Characters are likely 6 feet tall.

I'd say left and right at Golden Apples are 20 FT. and all around they're 8 FT.

The walls at Golden Apples are pretty comparable to the right field wall at Coors. I'd check that.

I think Skittles' method is the best way to go on this one. Or perhaps compare fictional stadiums with real ones.

Like, say, Fenway Park where you know the wall heights. You can sort of figure out the heights for the fictional stadiums I guess.

I haven't decided on the GoldenApples one yet, but I can guesstimate that the LCF wall at Panpaka is around 30 feet, at most.
