Post subject:  Petition?

Hello. I want to start a petition to reinstate MLB Power Pros. Believe it or not, I think we could put this game back. It has a ton of potential, and I think all it takes is a little effort. Since baseball video game franchises are declining, I think that this game could be released again in the USA. I believe this franchise was wrongly done, and it deserves another chance. Who' with me?

P.S. Where do you start a petition?

Obviously I'm brand new here, but I'm pretty sure this topic has been discussed at length. Despite pretty much everyone who has ever played Power Pros loving the game, there simply aren't enough people who know what it is to make a new game profitable for the developers. I love the game but I think we're only going to be able to play 07, 08, or the Japanese games sadly

It was disbanded because of capacity, and they were dicussing at the heat of the moment. There's still room for another franchise.

I'm pretty sure The Bigs took its place.

What I'm saying is that there is an open spot in Konami for a franchise somewhere

No. The rip-off that was MLB Bobblehead Pros took its place.

Also, like tigersfan12 said earlier, this topic has been discussed at length already. It's not going to happen, and if I recall correctly, Konami lost their portion of the MLB license 2 or 3 years ago (maybe more). As much as I would love to see another Power Pros in America (and believe me, the Wii U NEEDS a decent sports game of any sort), I'm afraid we're never going to see another one.

I second this "Huh?" statement.

No, he's right about that. Bobblehead might have been the "continuation" of the franchise, but The Bigs replaced Power Pros.

That's what I'm saying! The company now has room for a deep, creative sports game, and they could bring back MLB Power Pros.

It's a noble cause, but there's no way we could get enough signatures on said petition to even make Konami raise an eyebrow at it.

How many signatures would it require?

I'm not sure there's an exact number, obviously it would have to be significant enough to where Konami would say "hey, we have (x number) of people who would buy this game". They wouldn't make a new one if, say, 50 people signed it. 50,000? Now you're talking.
