It says in the instruction manual that you can get points from success mode.

You need to reread that.

Here's another goofy minor "attention to detail" thing I've noticed in MLB Life mode and probably is the same in Season mode - the 3rd base coach's race changes from game to game. So I hit a homer in one game and coming around third it is a white 3rd base coach slapping hands with me. Next game it might be the white guy again, or it might be a black guy or a hispanic guy. The first time I noticed it I thought maybe the team fired a coach, but then a few games later it was another guy with a different skin tone.

Now that I'm in year 6 of MLB Life mode the dearth of drafted pitchers who actually have a windup delivery is annoying enough that I really think it needs fixed. Probably 9 out of 10 drafted pitchers only have a stretch delivery, even with no one on or when their position is SP rather than RP.

I really would like it if you could shorten the season length so it can reflect how you play

Like instead of 165 game season, you could shorten it to a 50 game season so you could play all the games

Well it would definitly make it take less time and the season is162 games. I'm being nitpicky though.

That's one of the things we meant by "pushing the systems' capabilities."

it not like i have all the time in the world to devote to finishing a season with 162 games. I also have school and baseball and whatnot. I just want to be able to have a shorter season mode. You don't have to get all "shame on you" for not playing all my games.

*Most* people have lives outside of video games ;)

There are a number of approaches you can take though. My approach to Season Mode is to play every 7th game (6 man starting rotation). So that works out to playing about 25 games per season, 4-5 games per starting pitcher.
