Since most of us have had our fair share of playing Power Pros '07 and '08, I think we should start a list of things we want in the next years edition, and perhaps if we get the attention of the developers soon enough they can work our fixes in. No one plays the game more than the people who purchase the game AFTER the beta testers get done with it, so I think our feedback is far more important and in-depth than a game testers' ever could be.

We'll break it down to General Power Pros Fixes, and console-specific areas for the Wii, PS2 and DS.

General Power Pros

NEED
    Online Roster Updates (Weekly/Monthly?)
Online Play Capabilities (Exhibition, League, Season Modes) perhaps more than 2 players? (Multiple players per team take control of a single position player each?)
Name Pronunciation Fixes (Most of them are correct, just fix the ones that aren't)
Better choice of which fielder is controlled by the player during a play. This includes gappers to Left/Right Center Field, and 1B/3B going after a foul ball instead of automatically defending the base, which is the pitcher's job to do once one of them moves off the base!
Bullpen warmup feature from Exhibition Mode to be put in all modes
Make it easier to draw walks, allow beanballs
Allow Alt. jerseys to be used in all modes and allow Arrange teams to create the alternate jerseys
(Success Mode) Ability to set a Voice name for created player during the naming process
(Success Mode) Multiple save slots for Success Mode. 3 isn't asking *too* much considering all of the information that is saved for Season Mode can be saved in three different slots.
(My Life Mode) Fix the player motivation problem so it is more dynamic/situation dependent.
(My Life/Season Mode) Fix the CPU AI's handling of pitching staffs (swingmen starting 2 games in a row or relieving in one and starting the next, closers pitching in the middle innings)
(Season Mode) More lineup options where you can set up platoons
(Season Mode) Expand Season mode from 10 to 20 years to make the draft actually relevant
(Season Mode) Increase the duration of some injuries in Season mode. In 50+ years of Season mode I've never seen a single season ending injury, and only a handful of trips to the DL. The vast majority of injuries in 2007 and 2008 are of the "day to day" variety where a player misses 5 days or less.
(Season/Arrange Mode) More customizable options for teams! More logos, colors, text, etc.

WANT
MORE voices! Even poor Marvin's name isn't pronounceable by the announcer/Merluzzi!
On a play from the above, we need more names for drafted/scrub players on teams. It makes the rosters seem tired and dull when there's four 'Arteaga' players on it. Also make them more varied in their pitching and hitting styles.
Cameo or bring back some characters from old Power Pro games besides Marvin, some of us really liked them. Even take some from the Pawapuro series that we aren't familiar with yet.
Multiplayer HR Derbies (Online too maybe?)
Password compatibility between MLBPP versions for Success Mode created players (Limit the number if you must, but some of us just love our old characters!)
Team-specific chants, get the crowd REALLY into the game when in difficult situations
(Arrange Mode) Create-A-Stadium for your Arrange Team

Nintendo Wii
Wii-mote capabilities in more modes than just Exhibition
Password compatibility between systems for Success Mode created players
Utilize the power of the Wii! If the PS2 can't keep up then it's time to move on to the PS3. We like HOW the game looks, style-wise, we just want it to look BETTER (remove the jaggies using anti-aliasing, deeper color, more fluid movements)
(Success Mode) Give us the options to put our Miis through Success mode!

Sony PS2
Password compatibility between systems for Success Mode created players

----------------------------------------------

Please post here and we'll get a nice long list going. We can send the results to Konami/2kSports to see what can be done. The sooner we can get these ideas out, the better chance (if any) we'll see them!

Multiplayer HR derbys would be nice. Multiple save slots for success mode.

Thanks for starting this thread DS. This is a good idea.

-The ability to change rosters to whatever you want. I know you can do this with arrange mode, but I mean taking players off your team and put them on another
- Passwords compatible with the previous two versions and compatible between systems

I know there's more things I want changed, but I can't think of them right now.

I meant 2 player HR derbys.

That would be cool. Play against your friends to see who get more homers? That's a great idea.

I've wished many times I could do that with by brother.

That's a great idea. I think it would be more fun than baseball matches.

I'd love to see a wifi season mode, but I don't know how that would work. Everyone would have to be at the same spot in the season to trade.

Maybe add another HR derby feature where it is like the real HR derby. With 8 players. 1 or 2 human players for PS2 and the rest CPU. For wii 1-4 human players and the rest CPU.

I like the idea of online Season Mode, you could round up a bunch of folks from the forums and everyone would control their own team and play. Or scale that down if you must and have Online League Mode.

What about an Online HR Derby mode? 8-16 players? Losers in the early rounds can stick around and watch, maybe even integrate a limited chat room to talk to the other players while one is at bat.

And I don't see why they would do online roster updates, because then that would just be one less reason to buy the next version.
