No, just no. First off, you're way too good for a Success mode player. Second, they would NEVER put in actual NCAA colleges, because that's a bunch of money they'd have to spend to just get the license. Third, that's too big for one Success mode. And fourth, you're off-topic.

Definitely integrate the wii-mote into the game more (they'd sell more copies on the wii if they did this).

Put some of the Japanese stadiums in the game (maybe as unlockables?)

Some additional animations (maybe your player slamming stuff in the dugout after striking out with the bases loaded)

Another announcer working with the current guy (a color commentary dude and a play by play guy)

It would be funny to see a brawl get fired up after a Hit-By-Pitch.

Here are the two major improvements they need:

1) make the 'extra' cities have a staduim. IE, if you select TOLEDO as your team's city, make sure that when they are on the map and showing the plane/etc that it comes to/from toledo, even if you chose Comerica Park.

2) allow a season created with entire fake teams with fake rosters instead of MLB players.

Hey guys, no flaming... a little rib poking is okay, but that's about as far as I'll allow in this clubhouse.

Of course, let's try to keep this topic reasonable, adjustments that can reasonably be made within 6-8 months worth or writing time.

My favorite ideas so far are online roster updates (many sports games already do this so it's possible and accepted by now) and online play. It'd be nice if players didn't clip so much to, like when theres a runner on first and he and the first baseman "overlap" eachother. And I agree that it's just silly that we can only save one success mode player at a time, and it's even odd that they only let us save three of the other modes. There's plenty of memory on the wii, why limit the save slots? Most of the other things here would be really cool but the online stuff and the saves are the things that I see as vital.

Fix the freindship things OR do them this way. If you become good buddies you are a pair. Marvin, Success Guy. Manny, Ortiz. Alvin, Mark. You play better and get a stat increase if you are pitcher and catcher, hitting back to back in the lineup. You know, stuff like that.

How can you possibly suggest moving to the PS3 for MLBPP.... making it graphically better would destroy the entire look and feel of the game. Maybe release it for the PS3 as well but to ignore the console that still has the largest user base in the world (PS2) is pretty dumb when your game doesn't need any more power. I have absolutely no intention of ever buying a PS3... I might get a Wii or Xbox 360 someday but screw the PS3.

Fixing the announcer is one of the top things for me..... but more importantly in MLB life mode - GIVE PITCHERS RUN SUPPORT! Allow users to change the settings for the oppositions batters so that no matter how well you pitch you're still going to give up the occasional run but these situations where your pitcher has an ERA of 0.5 and has more losses than wins because most of the time your own team never scores a single run when you're pitching is ridiculous.

Also - is the friendship/technique thing fixed in 2008? I haven't tried season mode yet but if it isn't... then fix that too.

I think you could make the graphics better without ruining the feel of the game. Even more detail for the stadiums, more realistic fans, less clipping by the players, etc. I'm not saying you'd need ps3 power to do that, and theres no reason to move it to ps3 unless you have to since a ps3 can play ps2 games, but some graphics upgrades wouldn't necessarily hurt the series.

How about this: Have your coach ask you to lay down a bunt or pop one up for a sac fly. Depending on how well you did would effect how much your coach likes you. As a pitcher, maybe he could ask you to bean someone, throw inside, intentionally walk someone.

This shouldn't be to hard for them to program.

Imagine in the game: 1 out, runner on 2cb, 8th inning of a tied game, coach asks you to lay down a bunt. Would ya?

Well that depends. If you're even close to average I think that's a horrible idea. Bunting's too hard in this game anyway. As for beaning someone. It's almost impossible as last year they moved back out of the way and this year they stay still but they're still too far back.

Since the only way you keep yourself in good spirits with the coaches/managers is to hit, you're going to have a ~.300 avg ish and hopefully a 350+ w/ MISP, so you should be swinging (else you're bound to get Timely Whiff like Andruw Jones is in real life).

I like the "real life" qualifier. He is ridiculous in the game. He hits 30+ HRs with a .300+ avg in my MLB Life. I just sit and laugh at the audacity of it.
