I normally went with: 104+ = 15 100-103 = 14 96-99 = 13 92-95 =12 88-91 = 11 ..... and so on. Obviously it might not be the best way of approaching it but that's what I just do |

4 TRJ-12 degrees launch angle or higher. Players ex:Giancarlo Stanton and Mike Trout 3 TRJ-9-12 launch angle. Players ex: Edwin Encarnacion and Miguel Cabrera 2 TRJ-6-9 launch angle. Player ex: Obdubel Herrera 1 TRJ-6 or lower launch angle. Players ex: Dee Gordon and Ben Revere. now lets test and discuss these as we update rosters |

I have a question, how do you get fielding abilities for players that aren't listed in the fangraphs post? A.k.a pretty much all of the players in the MLB. |

Gen. MPH is not very accurate, but for TRJ it looks that it is. The Avg.=140.. The TRJ gives some more TRJ to some, but I think it shows some are not actually good homerun hitters. |

Those hits are generated by PWR, SPD, Gd Bunt and Gd IF HTR. Also looking for trajectory brother from MR. Davis it am also more important brother: But I can't find that brother. |

A couple notes on things I've been using recently: Run Speed -- rough estimator but I multiply the player's Spd score x2, or add their Spd scores from 2015 and 2016 For fielding stats, I take the player's ARM (OF only), RngR, and ErrR and add/subtract that number from 8 (average). For example in 2016 Mark Trumbo had a 0.9 ARM, -1.4 RngR, and 0.0 ErrR. This would give ratings of 9 ARM STR, 7 FLD, and 8 E RES. For infielders' ARM STR I use a combination of positions played and the Fan Scouting Report. What I mean by positions played is that a guy who plays a lot of third base is generally going to have a stronger arm than one who's playing first or second base. For catchers' ARM STR I use their opponents' successful steal rate. League average is somewhere around 70% (it's 68.7% right now) so I use this system: 60% SB = 10 ARM STR 65% SB = 9 ARM STR 70% SB = 8 ARM STR 75% SB = 7 ARM STR 80% SB = 6 ARM STR and so on. These are all kinda rough but I guess they might help with this stuff so yeah OH ALSO for some specials: -- Base Running 2/4: I use UBR for this, if they have a constantly positive score give them BR 4, if they're always negative give them BR 2 -- Tough Out: I base this on low K% but also on their batting average in 0-2 counts. Anyone with above a .200 AVG in 0-2 counts should probably get this -- Pull Hitter: I give this to anyone with at least 50% Pull on Fangraphs |
