Post subject:  MLB PP 08 ROM coding
So I was able to enter codes into the dolphin emulator which granted me with max skill points and max money. Took me a second to figure out when you reload a player, all the skills points are replenished. This will solve almost all the issues of making success players. Some people may not choose to go down this route because the fun and accomplished feelings of manually making players will go away; I understand that. Using the codes will allow us to fire out more players and with more accuracy. There is an option to turn off the codes while still having them ready for reactivation (if needed).

okay so I can't add more than 5 URL's in one post. To start off, here are the links for the programs you'll need, along with the emulator and ROM.

http://www.7-zip.org/- dxdiag your computer if you are uncertain on which data size your computer uses (32 or 64 bit)
http://www.poweriso.com/

dolphine emulator is what you should look up
and the MLB PP 08 thing is on the romulation website

if you're looking just to play then you won't need to look at the directions below

This is actually how I made all the players before hand. ;) (That's how I got the MAXED player. The one with 14 rank 7 breaking balls, etc.)

Once the game is open, go to Tools > Cheats Manager > Gecko Codes, you can get max XP for all of them. I leave the bottom ones alone, motivation/top speed/money/xp? because it seems to make stuff break sometimes, most commonly top speed locked at 49.

Edit: You don't have to save and reload either. You can use all the point, hit okay, and go back into the boost screen and it's all at 999 again.
