Why go with Betances for the Yankees, he didn't come up until '11 or have a major impact until '14.

I think that if you would rather have fully updates rosters for the '08 season, then you shouldn't use guys who didn't play in '08.

Betances was regarded as one of the Yankees top prospects for a while and I basically just want to experiment and see how players would develop in Power Pros.

I have an Excel of all the high impact guys and the slots per-team for them to fit into.

Eventually I just gave up and edited in any guy that was born in '87 or earlier, since success mode is too time-consuming and so many players are imperfect (some due to abilities/negatives we can't get, others with bad DOBs, others just too overpowered).

If you want to drop me a PM with your email I'd be more than happy to share the excel. Most of the guys are already made in success for Wii.

Final note: some teams have guys on the roster by default that can be deleted, as they didn't play in MLB again or had only a few innings. I delete those guys when a more useful guy is edited in or added via Success. For instance, the Yankees had a lot of arms, and there's no reason to keep Morgan Ensberg on the team when he barely got in any action in 2008.

Ok, thanks for the chart and advice, I'll use that definitely. What does the green mean though?

green means a player I had targeted to do via Success Mode. Like a guy that is left to make, and fits within the team's allowed/open slots.

Post subject:  Re: 2008 Prospects

here are some notes, if you're making these guys as prospects:

- Justin Turner (BAL) should be a 2B -- played a little bit at some other positions but primarily second
- John Jaso (TB) should be a C -- played 1 game at first before 2008
- Wade Davis (TB) should be a SP -- was a starter coming up and for a few years in the bigs
- Casey Fossum (DET) should have a PALM to represent his signature eephus
- shoutout to Jack Egbert

also make sure to double-check spelling on all the names before entering them -- you have a bunch of them misspelled but certainly that could be attributed to fast typing or something along those lines.

So I've made it so every team has 5 "prospects" each so they can actually draft in the draft. I've also completed it so I'll start putting them in and maybe make a log when I've finished.
