omg Cahill isn't in this game...

I worked so hard on Anderson and Outman and Gio, only to find the AI still short on pitchers...and Cahill/Bailey aren't even in the game.

Now I'll have to do those two in the next month. Holy crap.

I posted Cahill v.2011 in the Cahill thread. 2011 Bailey:

Ctrl 157
Stam 40

98 mph -- 52.5%
CUT (4) -- 29.6%
CB (3 or 4) -- 16.8%
*H-SLD (2) -- 0.9%
*CHG (2) -- 0.2%

Fastball Life 2, W/RISP 4 or Poise 4 (maybe both, haven't decided), STR Finisher, Safe Pitch, Recovery, Durability 2.

yah i am on the fence on the sld/chg. Scouting reports say his cutter sometimes goes like a slider, but im not sure if that warrants a second pitch. The change he threw like 3 times one year and then not since...

if anything i would give the chg 1, and make the h-sld a 2 as a secondary pitch in that direction.

halfway thru him tho - i remember how to run success mode, woohoo

I just ran my Fastball Life ratings again and Bailey came out as having Fastball Life 2. He throws hard, but gets very little z/x movement. Quite a few of the hard throwers are like that, especially the ones who throw over the top, so I'll leave that up to you.

EDIT: A great scouting report on Bailey: http://www.hardballtimes.com/main/artic ... y-pitchfx/

Synopsis: Pounds the zone with a nasty straight FB/CUT combo with a SCB. Has three solid pitches and misses lots of bats. Can "blur" 90 mph CUT down to 80 mph SLD. Gives up a lot of fly balls.
