What is your definition for S/L? Like a run through the game without stopping? If so, it is possible. You just need a knuckle and you'll survive the game.

Thanks for all the advice, i just completed my first Pitcher, who i think turned out pretty good.

Top Speed-89
Control-C
Stamina-B

Lv 6 Forkball
Lv 5 Slider

This took alot of S/L, but was worth it. :D
Now i'm going to take him through LIFE mode.

BTW: What does the gamblers ring do?

Ok pitchers are definitely a lot harder. I passed a hitter on my first try, as a pitcher...

I started every game possible and allowed 1 run in both years, needless to say I failed for not being "good enough"...

most every player I have made is without s/l, the pitchers all end up with only 90-93 MPH top speed and maybe 2 lvl 5 breaking pitches, so nothing great, but they make it through

got to utilize some save and loading dudes. I at least save once a month in case of injuries. i save right before a practicing with low vitality, then i just exit if i hit on the 18% injury rate or whatever it might be. heres one formula to make a pretty dope pitcher:

hit the weights first two weeks, go to frank in week three. i almost always practice in week 4 since it is the "super boost" practice week. in march, see Siitch in week two, keep on with Siitch week 2 and Frank week 3 until their arcs end, and you could have a pretty good pitcher by the first year's championship game.

also important are: going to see Jaw right after he meets you to get those suprise bags! you can get glove waxes, secrets of defense, pitching, hitting, and the gamblers ring. Steak bitch is crucial so as not to use up your strength points on stamina, plus you get money every time, so do her story. If you want to kick it up a notch, make sure frank improves your baseball sense before getting the higher level boosts.

create your players the fast way if you prefer, but they will never, NOT EVER be as good as my save and load players...

Tiant(rolled a positive GoodJob after the Sept Wk 1 practice): 100 mph, 240 stam, 175 control, splitter lvl 1, SlowCB Lvl 3, Cubano lvl 5 (original CB with more edge), Lucky, FBLife 4, Spin 4, Release 4, Gd Reflexes, Gd Pickoff, w/RISP 4, Poise 4, Recovery 4,

Dusty: 2 Trj, 11 con, 196 pow, 14 spd, 13 arm, 15 fld, 12 e res, ConHitr, PowrHitr, SprayHitr, ToughOut, RallyHitr, HotHittr, Bases Clearer, Throwing 4, Clutch 5, Consistency 4
