I believe there was a strategy posted somewhere on here that involved only throwing fastballs straight down the middle. It works surprisingly well.

Yes, but someone also said that they got creamed doing that too,
and you don't get very many strikeouts. :(

Well, to get Dr. K you have to get A LOT of strikeouts. For example, one of my guys got 23 K's to get it

If you're using the generic pitchers the game puts there for you, it's probably the most effective strategy available.

If you're making your own pitcher and using them in the game, there are probably better things you can do, especially if you have an overpowered pitch like a good knuckleball.
