I know power is better to boost at first when making a player, but how can I get enough scout eval per game? I plain stink at hitting even with the rookie charm. I need some tips.

Save before every game. You need 40 scout eval points in total to pass AA. So as long as you get an average 8 points per game you're good. For batting upgrades I always get my trajectory up to 2 first thing. Then I improve my contact to an F. After that I upgrade power the whole time in AA and then focus on other abilities in AAA. Hope that helped!

Normally, in-game hitting, I lay off pitches that are barely strikes until I have 2 strikes on me. Here are some strategies for every pitcher in AA.

Walter- Try to get him to either jack-up or hang a curve or change up as these pitches are slow and easy to hit.

Jonathan- Definitely the hardest. Try to get and inside fastball and swing early and smash it to pull field. Another easy pitch to hit off Jonathan is a slider that slides right thru the inside corner and pull it.

Slow- Against Slow you need to get a jack-up pitch or a slider in whatever spot you hit best in. I'm not good at hitting fastballs off Slow.

Wall- Against Wall the best thing to do is get any pitch on the middle of the plate to hit right up the middle as its next to impossible to hit a gapper against the Aegis.

Hope that helps!

Jonathan take him deep in the counts, most of the time he'll not piych 3 strikes in a row. Commonly there will be a pitch close or right down the middle fastball

I find Jonathan rather easy to predict. He only has 2 pitches: fastball and slider. You know the pitch will never drop, so just put your cursor over the ball marker and if you see the breaking ball spin, just follow it to the side. Also, for hitting in general, it helps to be just SLIGHTLY underneath the ball marker so you can get a little lift on the ball.

Remember to not to go for power hits until you have enough when you think you can hit homers many times, or else this will result in you flying out many times. I actually get many more hits when I dont power hit.

Wait for a mistake pitch unless you have 2 strikes with any pitcher in AA. I try to get my power to at least a C in AA everything else to an F, and my TRJ to a 2 in AA. I hope that helped even though it was like the same thing everyone else posted

I take off the Rookie Charm and let all hell break loose on the base paths. I have mastered the art of the run down and my platters can snag an extra base
