Can someone list the team names for me?

The strategy that's been working best for me is to use "Proceed" to rack up 2 or 3 actions for the fourth week and use those actions to all practice then. It's the most effective time to practice and if you make sure that coaches are watching, getting into games and getting scouted is much easier. Plus, if you do the same action multiple times in a week, it becomes more effective.

Also, until I get the hang of it, I almost require a Prince Necklace (the one that makes scouting easier) to succeed each year.

theres a few things you should do, S/L if you do bad in a game till you do good, practice when the coach watches, the guy i am making now is playing the guavastrawberries, i also cleared the scout bar so im all set. if you do really well in yr 1, you could probably start the first game of yr 2

I did S/L, but I still sat on the bench for the entire second year. Blargh.

Time to start a new playthrough, I guess.

If you havent noticed, your scout and manager bars carry over, so maybe you didnt practice when the coach was watching, that is an easy way to boost manager/scout bars

Second time playing and got a 1st baseman through.

C-11-contact
B-167-power
3-traj

fielding all stinks with F-fielding B-error res F-arm strenght

came away with--1st pitch hitter, hot hitter, power hitter, consistency took a hit to red at a 2. 3 red zones

Great for DH! Will now use him for Life Mode on the Jays. Was gunning for A power but close enough and contact can easily be had for a B. Get those and can then focus on my fielding.

all in all not bad for 1st time though. Now Life mode.

Personally, I run through as many situations as possible without save/reloading, simply because I'll see as many years as possible in bad situations and see all the events that occur that we'd normally avoid.

The only S/L I did with my player was for Power Hitter. I normally do most of my S/L for when I make a pitcher, gambling for better pitches.

I did S/l a couple of times I when I got injured. Also roled Laziness which was horriable, idoit never wanted to practice, and had to dump him quickly.

I actually really loved this succes mode. I failed with my first character, and he was just ad, but my sencond character was pretty good, I posted him in Password exchange but I don't have the password yet. I really like the card thing for practice where we can have a really good practice or a bad one. Very fun.

Seriously!?(on all fronts)

Sounds like it will be a difficult time this year round. You think your defensive skills account for more this time around?

There is more stress on Scout and Coach Evals so if you missed the Scout eval which took me some time had to win like 3 games doing decent in them and then pass the hitting test.

Can someone teach me how practice works? I can't seem to figure out what the whole 5 cards system is where you get the red cards (good cards) or the gray "X" cards. I know the more red cards you get the more exp. points you get, but just the whole system confuses me.

From what I've gathered, it seems that the likelihood of red cards is determined by the level of the practice and the amount of vitality you have. High practice level and high vitality means more red cards. Do the same practice over and over in a month and be sure to save some vitality for the fourth week to get an exp boost. That's the easiest way to level up a practice.

Motivation matters too. With 8 motivation and full vitality I couldn't get all red cards for a while.
