He started out as the 7th-inning guy and worked his way into the closer role by July. Hitters batted just .224 against him, and he didn’t walk many either (2.31/9). He also forced a lot of groundballs, which helped keep the power numbers against him to a minimum, as his HR/9 was excellent (0.69) and hitters had an ISO under .100 against him. He also didn’t allow a slugging percentage over .380 in any given month. |

Then he had a nightmarish roadtrip, going 0-4, blowing all 4 saves, and having an ERA of 27.00 ERA in 3.1 innings. He got sent down to AAA to improve his condition, and he was recalled in August better than ever. He pitched to a 1.52 ERA in 23.2 innings as the set-up man. He sported a high K/rate (8.22/9) and fly ball rate (0.74 GO/AO), but didn’t give up many home runs (0.88/9), which lead to hitters batting only .206 against him. |

He got his share of strikeouts (7.02/9) and groundouts (1.65 GO/AO). He also was terrific at keeping the ball in the park (0.46 HR/9). His biggest problem was walking batters, as he had bouts of wildness that led to a horrendous walk rate (5.03/9). When he can locate his spots, he’s as good as anyone in the Sonic’s bullpen. |

After Eggman was sent down in early July, Mephiles got another chance and made the most of it. He was tremendous for the Sonics down the stretch, with a 2.56 ERA after being recalled. Hitters batted .198 against him, which was the lowest average against any Sonics pitcher with more than 40 innings pitched. He also didn’t walk many batters (2.77 BB/9) or give up the long ball (0.74 HR/9). Perhaps most importantly was his ability to go multiple innings, as he averaged 1.1 per outing with 12 games of 2 or more. |

She was brilliant in her next three starts, going 17 scoreless innings while striking out 15, helping the Sonics win all three. She sported electric stuff, and while her K rate wasn’t very high, she got a lot of ground ball outs and rarely gave up a home run (0.46/9). She batted pretty well for a pitcher too, with a .308 average and .665 OPS. |

The Sonics stashed him in AAA until late in the year, and when he was called back up, he was much sharper than before, with a 2.30 ERA in 15.2 IP down the stretch. He gave up a lot of baserunners, but his HR/9 (0.50) was fantastic, helping him limit damage. |

He pulverized baseballs throughout the season, with his lowest OPS for any month being .933. He led the powerful Sonics offense in batting average, slugging percentage, OPS, hits, doubles, triples (tied with Blaze), home runs, RBIs, runs scored and wOBA, and was second in OBP. He had terrific power (.267 ISO) and hit the ball hard throughout the year, with a .377 BABIP that certainly was no fluke. His also played his best baseball down the stretch, with 12 HRs and a 1.236 OPS in the season’s final month. His Baserunning was excellent, and he finished the year with 22 stolen bases while only getting caught 4 times (84.6%). He was solid defensively as well, with only three errors and a powerful throwing arm out of left field. His range factor (1.97) was around league average for the position. |

He initially batted in the#3 spot but got off to a bad start, and by the end of May he was hitting just .223/.297/.335, good for a .632 OPS. After being benched a couple games to begin June, Shadow caught fire and never looked back, batting .338/.400/.559, good for a .959 OPS. He had good control of the strike zone, with very good walk (9.8%) and strikeout rates (14.0%). He also had nice power as well (.185 ISO). He ran the bases very well (37 steals on 45 attempts), good for a 82.2 SB%. He wasn’t great in the field, leading the team in errors and having a range factor below league average on a team with a lot of ground ball pitchers. |

He used his ninja-like patience to walk 116 times, which led the team and gave the guys behind him plenty of RBI opportunities. He also hit .320 and his .434 OBP led the team. He managed to hit for power as well, with 42 doubles and 17 home runs contributing to a solid ISO (.174). On top of that, his strikeout rate was excellent as well (10.0%). He played first base very well, with only two errors in 1,337 innings, contributing to a .999 fielding percentage. |

His season got off to an inauspicious start, as he was batting .185/.274/.246 late into April. Starting with a series against the Braves, however, Sonic completely turned things around at the plate, as he hit .303/.369/.507 from that point on (.876 OPS). His baserunning was obviously terrific, as he led the team with a whopping 76 stolen bases, and he scored 104 runs as well. And his glovework was phenomenal at shortstop as well. Not only did he cover a ton of range (5.39 RF), but he didn’t make too many mistakes, with an excellent .987 fielding percentage. |

He hit 29 home runs and drove in 116 (6th in the NL), which is even more impressive when you consider that he platooned with Metal Sonic against left-handers. While he struck out more than anyone on the team, he made up for that by excellent walk (13.4%) and power (.248 ISO) rates. He didn’t make too many mistakes in right field, but his range was subpar for the position (1.83 RF). |

She was able to provide some production a the top of the Sonics’ order, batting .288 on the season. She didn’t have much home run power, but she was able to find the gaps for doubles and triples, with 30 combined on the year. Her hitting was inconsistent however, as she had three months batting over .300 with OPS over .850, and three where she hit under .240 with OPS under .650. She ran the basepaths extremely well, finishing 32/36 in stolen bases (88.9%), and scoring 84 runs. Her glove work at second was great as well; she showed off tremendous range (5.33 RF), and had an excellent fielding percentage (.992). |

His hitting was mediocre across the board, except for an outlier month of July where he hit out of his mind (1.076 OPS). She batted a robust .320 slapping and bunting for singles, and despite a low walk rate, she got on base at a good clip (.367) in front of the Sonics middle of the lineup. She hit for almost no power (.062 ISO), but her excellent baserunning allowed her to take extra bases. She swiped 33 bases on 42 attempts (78.6%), and was an incredible 21-22 in the final four months of the season. She was around average defensively in center field, and she sported a solid, accurate throwing arm. |
