Week three has come and gone, and a couple of changes in the standings. All leaders from last week still remain in tact most with a a small margin ahead of the competitors. Teams like the Buffalo Bulldogs are finding stride moving up to thrid in the division over the Jacksonville Fire Hawks. The Denver Navigators have stayed hot through the week. Lead by a stellar performance by Andruw Jones with five home runs and thirteen RBIs he was borderline unstoppable. Rumors are still buzzing the Portland is pushing for it's own separate stadium from the demons. The month of April is over and the divide is becoming progressively clearer of who the front runners of the league are. The Scranton Wildcats lead the PL East by 9 games at a 24-8 record so far. In the PL Central the Broncos and Navigators are still tied with the New Orleans Blue Sox winning six games this week to put them only three games behind the two. On the Freedom League side the Lions hold a steady command of the central, leading the division in most team stats on pitching and hitting. Along with strong play by Albert Pujols who is currently third in the League in batting average and hits and fifth in home runs. While the rise of others has been noticed we should also notice the failures of others. Teams like the Colorado Springs Panthers who are running a 7 game losing streak fall to the basement of their division and struggling to get out.As the league advances, we'll continue to watch closely to each team across the league as the season unfolds with the hopes of even more interesting follow up

Another week and another change in standings. The Patriot League West has had a little shake up with the Knights on a 7 game losing streak, to lose their top spot int the division. New Orleans continues to rise as a possible candidate to win the PL Central, as their currently tied with the Navigators who are trying to hold on to the number one spot in the division. In Front Office related news, the battle in Portland carries on. The Venom are currently working on a package plan that would lean more on the team funding the proposed stadium. This move is ironically being back along with the Demons for their on vested interest in renovating Intel field as they see fit. The City Council hasn't budge much yet but with current negotiations going on a lot is in the air.

The Month of May is coming to close with a shocking trade on the 20th. The Bulldogs traded away one of the few gems in the bullpen Kalaeb Olsen . To the Scranton Wildcats for Center fielder Ken Tighe. Kaleeb was one of the few pitchers under a 4 Run ERA, and no with Tighe into the Bulldogs lineup they lead the league as a team in hits but holds a slightly better then average team batting average at .259. Scranton will receive the closer they so desperately need to support their stellar starting pitching rotation which is already considerably the best in the league. The New Orleans Blue Sox have taken the lead of the Central division finally in a competitive 3 way battle of them Denver and Iowa City.
