The top tennine in batting average and home runs are completely disjoint sets. That’s odd. No clear cut MVP candidate from the looks of it. |

United Baseball League News 8/4/2016 Two More months of regular season baseball to go! The trade deadline ended the 31st of July. United Baseball League News 8/11/2016 The season is getting closer to the end with a still wide range of possibilities, The Patriot League still has 10 possible teams for the only playoff slots. The Central Division is getting more competitive as Omaha is on the hot streak and inching behind New Orleans and Iowa City. The Montreal Reapers after some smooth trades by GM Demarlo Hale, and stellar play by the team is putting them only four games behiend the Scranton Wildcats who have lead the division all year to this point. The Toledo Lions have slipped out of contention it seems like after having a strong first half, but remember anything can happen. Players of the Week Patriot League Andruw Jones (Denver) .529 AVG 3 HR 8 RBI Salvador Perez (San Jose) .400 AVG 3 HR 8 RBI Freedom League Carlos Beltran (Sacramento) .458 AVG 3 HR 8 RBI Freddie Freeman (Indianapolis) .364 AVG 3 HR 11 RBI Current Stadnings Patriot League East Scranton Wildcats 65-50 Montreal Reapers 61-54 Durham Dragons 58-57 Miami Macaws 55-60 Charlotte Warriors 50-65 New England Senators 46-69 Central Denver Navigators 64-51 Iowa City Broncos 63-52 New Orleans Blue Sox 62-53 Omaha Cougars 59-56 Columbus Falcons 54-61 Round Rock Renegades 47-68 West Tuscon Dirt Devils 64-51 Honolulu Bluefins 61-54 Portland Venom 60-55 San Jose Knights 56-59 Freedom League East Richmond Blue Claws 67-48 Indianapolis Wizards 57-58 Jacksonville Fire Hawks 52-63 Buffalo Bulldogs 46-69 Central Tennessee Hornets 72-43 Toledo Lions 59-56 San Antonio Samurais 54-61 Colorado Springs Panthers 49-66 West Portland Demons 67-48 Edmonton Raptors 59-56 Las Vegas Wolfpack 56-59 Utah Chill 56-59 Phoenix Wings 55-60 Sacramento Sharks 50-65 Injury Reports New England Senators Bill Hill RF Back Pains Day-to-Day Toledo Lions Tonomori Oikawa SS Torn Muscle Day-to-Day Rumor Report N/A Transactions N/A |

no yeah that's totally fair I think Harper has the best offensive line (.307/.416/.625 is pretty tough to beat), but Helmey's 46 SB may give him the edge. Hayden's having a good year but I think his HR and RBI are outshadowed by the fact that he's beat by the other two in pretty much every other category. |

Id say Harper then Hayden. Hemley isn't close in my opinion. 3 HR's is nowhere close to enough |
