My best trade was for Griffey Jr., he went on to hit 35+ homeruns and knocked in 178 RBIs. Jacobi, who I traded, hit 7 homeruns and 84 RBIs. I got the better end of the deal, especially since Griffey had a good season and was easy to trade for a young player.  WHAT IS YOUR BEST TRADE? |

In 07 i had alot of good trades. clemens for felix, mussina for Sabathia, Pettitte for Santana, Rivera for K-Rod. In 08 i did not have alot of good trades, mainly because it is harder to trade. I managed to get Soriano for Holliday, Troy and Brian Fruentes + 5k |

I'd say getting any team to take Carl Pavano is a great trade. Mine was Pavano for Matt Garza. |

I think I've got the winner here. Yankees Get: Joe Blanton I Get: Jeter A-Rod Posada 3000 PP OMFG. I promptly traded Jeter and Posada to the Phillies for 40000 PP and then A-Rod to the Rays for 35000 PP! So in the end I turned Joe Blanton into 78000 PP!!! I was just trying to dump Blanton and I get this... PS I know I accidentally made a different topic for this... oops... |

Today I got this trade Pirates Get K. Johnson Kotsay Infante 1 PP Braves Get (That's Me) F. Sanchez McLouth I get a better 2B and CF than the Pirates plus I have T. Perez as a utility guy so I don't need Infante. |

Okay, silly question. I seem to be losing grounds in the points game, so I traded some of my players for points. I probably should've confirmed before doing that, but do I still have to pay their salaries even if they go to another team? The reason I ask is because after trimming my roster, I'm still losing ground. Maybe I need to actually play more games and earn points instead of skipping half of them. What am I doing wrong here? |
