Hm, I've never seen that before..

Once, in '08, I had Verlander pitching for my Dream Draft Phillies against the Dream Draft Reds, and their batter hit a grounder up the middle, and Michael Bourn comes up and nails the runner from 2nd trying to score. With, like, F arm strength or whatever he has.

I find it nearly impossible to gun somebody out at any base. If I could get the throw to 2nd, and beat the runner by a mile, the CPU will ALWAYS make the throw off target. If the throw is late, even if its barely late, it will be right on target. That's what ticks me off the most.

Heh. I had my created Brad Ziegler playing C in practice, and he jumped for a foul ball, the ball bounced off his head, so he jumped again and caught it.

Today, my 2b Orlando Hudson went up the middle, snagged a ground ball, and instead of stopping & throwing to 1st, he jumped in the air, spun, and threw.

Later in the same game, he snagged a grounder moving towards 1st, but deep - sorta in the outfield. Instead of just stopping and throwing, he spun around and threw. It looked like something from espn

Fooling around in practice again, my RF, Jeff Francoeur, gunned one to the plate, it beat the runner there, but it was offline. So, my catcher dove to get the runner at home. I haven't seen any catcher do it before in the game, let alone one I was controlling.
