This takes place in the future, so I'll name you Jack Allen III, ok? ;)

Makes sense.

But if it's his son's son, make it Jonathan Allen, please.

Alright, looking for a hitting coach now. After someone steps up, then I'll start playing games.

Oh, and dish, where do you want the pitchers to practice?

(I'd also like to know what abilities they have, if they're changed at all)

Jurrjens: Top Speed, Control, or Breaking Ball practice (SLD)
Sanchez: Control
Marcum: Either Top Speed or Breaking Ball practice (CUT)
Wilson: Control
Morrow: Stamina

Chamberlain: Top Speed (we need a pretty dominant pitcher) (If Jurrjens is in TS, group.)
Howell: Control. He doesn't need that much stamina.
Carlson: Work on his Circle Change a little.
League: Control
Frasor: Stamina (If things go well on offense, you might need him for the 9th inning)
Wilson: Stamina (If things go BAD on offense, you might need him for extras, also, in ST, have him learn a downwards-moving pitch)

Feldman: Control
Sanchez: Control, until it gets to a D, then Stamina
Aardsma: Breaking Ball practice (SPLT)
Troncoso: Breaking Ball practice (SCB)
Wade: Top Speed
Hughes: Stamina
Prior: Stamina

So are the players for the other (cyborg) teams maxxed?

Not all the players. There is 1 maxed pitcher, but he's in the AL. Other than that, they've got pretty average stats.

Hitting Coach Applicant:

Name: Jonathan Jorgensen
Experience: Hitting coach in MLB for 2 years before the league disbanded. Since then he's been taking pretty much any job in any baseball league he could find, even without pay. He has experience in managing, and every coaching position, but only professional experience as a hitting coach.

Your application has been accepted. All you need to do is assign the hitters to where they should practice, and then I'll start playing some games! :D

UPCOMING SERIES

Sacramento Slayers vs. Las Vegas Gamblers

The Slayers look to kick off their inagural game against the divisional rival, the Las Vegas Gamblers. Here are the key Gamblers players to watch out for, as well as the projected pitching matchups for the series.

Dieter Van Hekken, C, #45, R/R, 29 years old
4 TRJ, C CON, A PWR, D RUN SPD, B ARM STR, B FLD, C E RES
GM REPORT: The German catcher is one of the best hitters at his position. He's a threat to go deep every time he's at bat, despite playing in a pitcher's park. He's also got a cannon for an arm, so it will be quite tough to steal off him. The worst part about him from our perspective is that he's in the prime of his career right now.

Joseph Dunn, LF, #34, S/R, 25 years old
3 TRJ, D CON, B PWR, D RUN SPD, C ARM STR, D FLD, D E RES
GM REPORT: The young left fielder has tons of potential, and he'll certainly be a thorn in the Slayers' sides for years to come, barring a trade/Free Agency. He's a streaky hitter who can crush lefties.

Terrence Garland, SP, #10, L/R, 32 years old
94 TOP SPD, B CTRL, A STAM, H-SNK 6, CCHG 3, DCB 4
GM REPORT: The veteran sinkerballer is one of the best of his kind in the league. He tops off his great breaking pitches by having superb control of them. He's also got great life on his fastball. His only weaknesses come when there's runners on base, as he is easy to steal off of, and he loses command of his pitches whenever there's a runner on base.

PROJECTED PITCHING MATCHUP:

Game 1: J. Jurrjens (0-0, 0.00) vs. T. Garland (0-0, 0.00)
Game 2: A. Sanchez (0-0, 0.00) vs. Kevin Cortez (98 TOP SPD, D CTRL, A STAM, 2SFB 2, DCB 5, SPLT 2; 0-0, 0.00)
Game 3: S. Marcum (0-0, 0.00) vs. Raymundo Castellano (94 TOP SPD, D CTRL, A STAM, 4 CUT, 4 SLD, 3 CHG; 0-0, 0.00)

Best of luck to the Slayers in their opening series.
