Okay guys, put up a new poll to make sure you guys are all happy. If you vote no, please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Oliver Kennedy doesn't care about stats. He plays for the love of the game and to win.

Amen paul, amen.

Kennedy is only batting around .250 for some reason.

Not sure about Shields.

Kennedy is okay about batting .250. He knows he'll get out of his slump.

Sox Rely on Longball, Not Enough to Beat Massives
May 17, 2008-The Massives were in Chicago today, going up against the White Sox. The Sox relied heavily on the home run for offense, but it wasn't enough to beat the hot Massives, who are on a 14 game winning streak. The Massives started the scoring in the top of the 2nd, when Matt Cruse hit a solo homer to right, and then Griffin hit an RBI single to score Nishikawa and make the score 2-0. In the 4th inning, Terry knocked in a run with a single, but in the bottom half Jim Thome got it back with a solo homer to make the score 3-1. In the 6th, Nishikawa got an RBI single to put the lead back up to 3. Paul Konerko was quick to answer though, as he hit a solo homer in the bottom half to make it 4-2. Carlos Quentin joined the fun during the next inning, hitting a solo homer of his own. League leader in home runs, Alex Gordon asserted himself as the best when he bombed one to left to put the lead back to 2, 5-3. Robby Monarch was brought in to close, but was took deep by Carlos Quentin again, after giving a mistake pitch right down the heart of the plate. Other than that little slip up, Monarch was solid and recorded the save. We spoke with manager BrewersFuzz after the game. "The guys are really playing well right now. We haven't lost in a while, but these guys aren't taking anyone lightly. Since we lost to the Tigers we've been a different team. We realized we had to jump on teams early, and keep a lead. Our pitching can improve though." So, our next game is against the White Sox again, this time back home in St. Louis, on May 25th. Reggie Carlson is on the schedule to start. Alex Gordon says to "Expect lots of runs from us in that game. We aren't holding back. We're gonna kick their ass." Well, it sounds like Mr. Gordon isn't happy about the White Sox hitting so many homers. So, until our next dramatic encounter on the 25th, see ya!

Yeah, pick some players that aren't taken. I highly recommend Amarillo Phillips, our DH. Not much left for pitchers, take your pick. List of players is on the first page, along with the list of players taken.

Massives Smash White Sox, Gordon's Prediction True
May 25, 2008-The Massives crushed the White Sox today, beating them by 7 runs. Amarillo Phillips had a great day, hitting more RBI's than the entire Sox team. He brought in the first run of the game, with an RBI double in the bottom of the 1st to make it 1-0. Carlos Quentin, who has become known as the dog killer after tearing up the Massives, got a 2 RBI double in the 4th to make it 1-2. That was the only lead the Sox would have though, and it wouldn't last long. In the bottom half, Cruse got an RBI double, and Nishikawa got an RBI single to make it 3-2. In the 5th, Phillips crushed a 3 run homer to the deepest part of the ballpark, center field, to make it 6-2. Terry and Matt Cruse followed that up with back to back double, with Cruse's scoring Terry, and making the score 7-2. Nishikawa brought in Cruse when he smacked an RBI triple, putting the lead at 6 runs, 8-2. In the 7th, the Sox scored again, on a Juan Uribe RBI single. Bob Griffin answered right back though, with an RBI double. Jermaine Dye was quick to answer back in the 8th, as he hit a, RBI double, making the score 9-4. Amarillo Phillips ending the scoring in the bottom of the 8th, when he hit a 2 run homer to right, making the score 11-4. Reggie Carlson pitched well again as the starter, and is now 9-0. We talked with Phillips after the game. "I really hit the ball well today. The guys in front of me were getting on base, and I just kept driving them in." Our next game isn't until June 3rd, taking on the Cubs at home, kicking off inter-league play. Ryan Techer is starting for the Massives. Until then, see ya!

Yeah, he was crushing the ball that game. Actually, he's been like that all year.
