My guess is that Preston and Matt will have a falling out and they will be rivals, but then they will make up setting up a buddy cop comedy for D-Tigers to write.

Brewers, I'm the one writing the novels.

This is such an amazing log.

October 2nd, 2014

On the day of the draft, I was hardly prepared. After hastily hiring one scout after our meeting on Tuesday, I had received very brief scouting reports on each player that was available. I hoped Greene was as ill-prepared as I was, but I had a feeling he had been the GM of the Dolphins for much longer than three days.

When I arrived at the private, untelevised draft, it was just me, Greene, and John Mason there. Mason explained that there would a coin toss to determine who got the first pick. I chose tails, won the toss, and immediately selected Jose Medrano, a Venezuelan shortstop who is an absolute baseball Genius. Greene got the next two picks and picked Eddie Cicotte, an excellent knuckleballer, and Sylvester Coddmeyer III, a power hitting center fielder with respectable fielding abilities. It wasn't long before the draft was over. I ended up with 12 fielders and 13 pitchers:

So far, what we know about these players is fairly vague, but by the start of the season we should definitely know a lot more about their specific strengths, weaknesses, and tendencies.

I'm more excited about baseball than I have been in a long time.

If anyone wants to be an agent, now is the time. You may select two players to represent.

I remember that name. They say that in his amateur youth playing days, he was the kid who only hit homers.
