It has been announced that Warriors starting SS Khalil Greene will be sent down to the minor leagues due to his poor play and Jorge Cantu will be brought up to take his place for the time being. Warriors owner had this to say about the move "we really like Greene's power and we all think he has tremendous upside, so hopefully he can get things figured out down in the minor leagues before we have to go in a different direction."

SERIES RECAP
Game 1- Deafface started this series on a hot note as the number 7 spot in the line up seems to be fitting him perfectly as he went 3-3 while hitting the seasons first grand slam for the Warriors and 4 RBIs to help get the win for the Warriors and starting pitcher Durvisuski.

Game 2- Missed opportunities pretty much sums this game up as the Warriors left tons of runners on base and ended up losing their first extra innings game of the year after Frank Ocean threw a mistake pitch in the 11th inning for a home run.

Game 3- Junior Livings was cruising for a complete game shut out until the 8th inning when a ball rolled by Ryan Howard to put a runner on and then the next pitch after that, the Whales catcher took Livings deep to score the only 2 runs for the Whales. Otto Rocket came in and got his 17th save of the season as the Warriors beat the Whales 3-2 to win the series.

PLAYER OF THE SERIES: Ryan Deafface

SERIES NOTES: Since moving to the 7th spot in the line up, Ryan Deafface is batting 13-23(.565) with 2 HRs, 7 RBIs, 1 2B, 3 Runs, 2 BB, and 2 Stolen Bases. While Deafface is on a hot streak right now, the same can't be said for Ryan Braun who over the past 6 games is hitting 4-21(.190) with just 1 HR, 2 RBIs, 1 Run, and 3 strike outs.

SERIES RECAP
Game 1: Steve Screws got the start for this one and while he did manage to strike out 8, he gave up just as many hits and allowed 3 earned runs in just 4 2/3 innings pitched. The Reapers were winning 3-1 until the 8th inning with A.Cabrera got a mistake pitch and he sent it deep for his 2nd home run of the year to take the lead, 4-3. Hochevar would come on and get his first save.

Game 2: This game quickly turned into a slugfest as the Warriors hit 8 home runs in this one including a streak of 4 home runs in a row, the first time the Warriors have ever been able to do that. The Final score ended up being 9-4 as Jim Oilhands got his team best 7th victory on the season. Back up catcher E.J. Florence also got his first career home run in this one.

Game 3: This game was all about Durvisuski, not only did he pitch a great 6 innings of shut out baseball, but he helped himself out by hitting a 3 run blast in the second inning, his first home run of the year. Rocket came on to get his 18th save of the year as the Warriors were able to sweep the Reapers, 3 games to 0.

SERIES NOTES: The right fielders for the Warriors in this series hit for a combined 7-11 with 2 home runs. The first two batters in the line up for each game hit for a combined 3-23(.130), while the usual first two batters for the Warriors hit for a combined 0-19 with 2 strikeouts.

PLAYER OF THE SERIES: Jinsu Durvisuski

Recap- It was a great day for the Warriors hitting wise and it looked like the
Warriors were going to coast to an easy victory, but in the 6th inning joy turned
to worry once starting pitcher Junior Livings had to leave the game due to elbow
pains for the 2nd time this year. The Warriors were still doing fine, the score
was 7-2 going into the 8th inning and Patrick Star, the Star knuckleballer was in
the game but when a 2 out error was made by Gurch, it allowed a run to score
which opened the flood gates, the Sluggers would end up scoring 4 runs in the
inning and it knocked Patrick out of the game. Otto Rocket was thrown into a
pressure save situation and handled it with ease, grabbing his 19th save on the
year. After the game it was announced that Junior Livings will miss 16 days due
to his injury, Gorzelanny will take his place in the starting rotation, and Manny
Corpas will be called up from the minor leagues.

Pawtucket Mustangs Scott Pedoria: D/E/E/D/D/1/D

In a move to dump salary costs, the Warriors send struggling shortstop Khalil
Greene to the Pawtucket Mustangs in exchange for SS prospect Pedroia. Khalil
Greene who is making 6.3 million this year has been with the Warriors since they
formed in 2008 and ends his Warrior career with a .236 batting average with 50
home runs and 108 RBIs. The Scranton Times caught up with the Warriors GM who
said "We all would like to thank Khalil Greene for his time and efforts he gave
to this team, and we would like to wish him the best in Pawtucket." Pedroia who
hasn't seen any major league action this year is set to make 400 thousand dollars
this year. The Warriors will also recieve 450,000 thousand dollars as they are
looking to make back some money after the owner splurged on some new practice
equipment for the team. Khalil Greene was reached and declined to comment on the
trade. Pawtucket is currently last in the AL Central with a 27-37 record.
