Still, my agenda is probably different than most. When starting with the M's, my primary order of business is to shed the organization of most everything that reminds me of former GM Bill Bavasi. That's pretty much the entire roster, so I blow it up and start from scratch, keeping a few key/cheap pieces of course. I also edit Dickey and Morrow beforehand so they can contribute in the rotation. And remove Consistency 2 from Felix. I mean, c'mon. The King? Consistency 2? For shame, pretend baseball makers. For shame . . .

Dickey wants to make one start in place of Silva. If he throws a quality start, keep him in the rotation. If not, your call on who gets the next start.

That's because Felix's stats are based on his 2007 season. He was inconsistent back then.

That's because Felix's stats are based on his 2007 season. He was inconsistent back then.


In 2007, Felix and his 3.27 xFIP ranked 2nd in all of baseball. The Mariners defense sucked, but Felix was damn good.

Trade news

GM shuuto has decided for Brad Wilkerson and Carlos Silva to be put on the block, they will be shopping them around with contending teams.

The series with the rays should be done by the end of the day.
