Major League Baseball has just announced in a press conference earlier today that there will be 2 new teams joining for the upcoming season. First off, there is the Sluggers of Louisville, a low budget expansion team that will play its games in the hitters park of Suburban Stadium. They are a fun weekend side hobby for the rich big wigs that run Louisville Slugger, and aren't very good. Then, there is the Orlando Osprey. This team is made up stud rookies that seem like locks to become perennial all-stars. They are owned by Disneyworld, and will play at the newly constructed Golden Apples Stadium, built right across the street from Disneyworld, a tribute to the team that everyone on the Osprey played AAA ball for. Both teams will join the AL East

The AL East will have 7 teams?

Yeah, I wanted to be in the same division as the Osprey without messing everyone else up.

What I would've done is move an AL East team to the NL East (Orioles, Rays, or Blue Jays, probably), move the Braves to the NL Central, and move the Astros to the AL West. Or maybe even just move the Blue Jays straight to the NL Central to leave the Braves where they are.

I wouldn't even do that. Just move the Blue Jays to the NL East, and the Astros to the AL West. Then they're both 6-5-5

I actually did put the Astros in the AL West, I also moved the Brewers back to the AL Central.
I also got one the best and luckiest expansion team draws I've ever gotten.

Stark, Heaverlo, and Maestri, are a bit overpowered for gray-bars.

The Sluggers had their first game today and beat the Osprey in the battle of the expansion teams. Tolar pitched a gem and McNichol drove in the winning run. The Sluggers struck first with a four run fourth, then the Osprey scored three in the bottom half of the inning to pull within one. The Sluggers tacked on two useless insurance runs in the eighth, and cruised to a 6-3 victory. Many franchise firsts happened including;
First Hit: Schrager
First RBI: McNichol
First Win: Tolar
First CG: Tolar
First XBH: West

Box Score:

Sluggers 4-16-0
Osprey 3-12-0

Win: Tolar
Loss: Van Hekken
Save: none
HR: none

Schrager 2/5 2B, 2RBI
Stark 2/5 R
Heaverlo 2/5 R
McNichol 2/5 RBI, R
Clapinski 2/5 2B, RBI, K
Crozier 1/4 RBI, R
West 2/4 2B
Maestri 1/4 R
Sequea 2/4 2B, RBI, R

Tolar W(1-0) CG, 12 H, 5 K
