AP (Chattanooga, TN)- Major League Baseball has announced the two expansion teams for the 2008 season. The first Franchise is the Tennessee Colts, which will play at Tennessee River Stadium (Rainbow Beach Stadium), owned by Shining Armor and his wife Cadence. The Colts will play in the NL Central as the Astros will move to the AL West. The Second Franchise will be for Norfolk, Vriginia and they will play at (To Be Edited)..... . They will play in the AL East.

January 2008-
Shining Armor and Cadence sit in their office still looking for a General Manager. "Cadence, have you found anybody yet?" Shining asked. "I have not. Nobody seems interested." She looked down then popped an idea. "Ok, what if we make Alex the GM?" "He's our starting left fielder, but I don't see why not." Shining said picking up his phone to call Alex Gray.

Alex's phone rings and he picks it up. "Hello?" I asked. "Alex you're officially our GM." Shining said. "Wait what?" I asked. "You'll still play but the three of us make the calls ok? You played a big part of this anyway." He said. "Alrighty then deal. See you guys at the ballpark then." I said. "Alright see ya." They hung up.

OPENING DAY 2014! OPENING SERIES PREVIEW (2 Games)

(0-0) Tennessee Colts @ (0-0) Milwaukee Brewers

The start of the season is finally here. After a crazy offseason with the addition of two expansion teams, the Tennessee Colts and the Norfolk Tide, the season is ready to go. The Tennessee Colts will make their MLB Debut against the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park for the first two games. For starters, Game 1 will feature the Ace, Ben Sheets for the Brewers, going up against young prospect, Homer Bailey for the Colts. In Game 2, Jeff Suppan will start for the Brewers and Japanese star, Yu Darvish will take the mound.

Milwaukee has a pretty decent line up going on. Ricky Weeks has amazing speed when he gets on base. JJ Hardy is a fantastic all-round hitter and fielder. Ryan Braun and Prince Fielder are two amazing sluggers and so is veteran, Mike Cameron. Corey Hart and Bill Hall are also great all-round players. This is the team is to look out for this year and is a favorite for the NL Central.

Tennessee actually has a young, yet pretty good line up themselves for an expansion team. Striker is a developing hitter with great run speed. Sport has good power and has decent fielding. The GM, Alex Gray is an all-round hitter who could be one of baseball's best in a few years. Applejack will be the first female player to bat in the majors and she has some terrific power! Jay Bruce, Chris Dominguez, and Andrew Clark have great batting skills as well. Corky Miller has turned into a good defensive catcher.

BREAKING NEWS (April 6, 2014) from WRCB Channel 3 Chattanooga:

"In other news, our new MLB team is off to a hot 5-0 start. That also gave one of our rookie players the National League Player of the Week, given to our female second baseman, Applejack. In the opening week of the season, she has a batting average of .565 with 3 home runs and 14 RBI's! She and the rest of the team are now back home at Tennesee River Stadium after sweeping the 2006 and 2011 Champion, St Louis Cardinals. They will play the Milwaukee Brewers this afternoon in front of a soldout crowd."

Hmm...quick question: What difficulty are you playing on? These seem to be some high scoring games for a couple of them. Just curious.

also, I find it weird that most of the pitchers average 85-86 MPH. Homer Bailey and Jason Motte off the top of my head go at least into the 90s.

Normal difficulty. CPU Fielding and Baserunning, I've been tempting to bring it up a level.

As for Bailey and Motte, yeah Im not sure how to get their speed into the 90's. I was kinda disappointed by that. Any suggestions?

Well it would depend if you created them in Success or edited them in. Bailey was already in the game so you can adjust his attributes but some of the other guys aren't.

I created them all in success mode but Im using one from another guy, Alrodis Champan, the one I made didn't have the right speed. Homer Bailey was in the game? I never saw him. Same with Corky Miller, until I saw him on the Braves lol.

2008 Season Wrap up

The Tennessee Colts pulled off something an Expansion Team never did before....

The Colts win the NL Central at a 94 win season!

What a story for a bunch of young men and women coming together to what has been a terrific offense and fantastic pitching. However many believe that they won't make it far. Some say that they will get swept by the in the NLDS.

NLDS: Tennessee Colts 3 New York Mets 0

NLCS: Tennessee Colts 4 Arizona Diamondbacks 0

World Series: Tennessee Colts 4 New York Yankees 0

An unbelievable story!!! The Tennessee Colts become the first team in Major League history to win the World Series in their first year of playing! Their offense was unstoppable and their pitching was spectacular! A party has officially began in Chattanooga!

"I can't believe it bro! We're World Champs in our first season!" Striker said to his brother Sport.

"I know right? It's a good feeling!" Sport smiled.

"Woohoo!" I celebrated.

Applejack was named NL Rookie of the Year, NL Hitter of the Year at Second Base, and World Series MVP.

The Colts celebrate for now as they go into 2009 looking to win another world series Championship!
