Wow - his off speed pitch rating must've been off the charts!

How old was the player? I noticed that usually players who are 24 and older have much more "developed" stats than anyone who could be considered a long term prospect.

I didn't look at his age. It was a test to see how good a player I could draft.

But you drafted him. Can't you check his age next time you play?

I didn't save the season but I think his age was 21-24

You gave up on your season, or did you just skip to the draft for the sake of drafting?

I do enjoy the draft. I usually save a reload a few times (actually, I find it a little addictive and s/l way too much). I then enjoy running through the other teams' 1st rounders to see what they got, and will usually do a league-wide draft analysis in my season log.

For pitchers, I value top speed and stamina the most, and fielding and control the least. With position players, I tend to go with all-around players, and if I'm picking at the end of the draft, if I can come away with a player whose got nothing lower than Es, and hopefully 3 Ds or 1 C and 1 D, that's a win!
