Baltimore - After months and months of waiting, the Baltimore Orioles have finally signed a new General Manager and President of Baseball Operations in the young and strapping 27 year old Michael Scott. Even though he's so young, Michael's been around the game longer than most. Working his way up through the minors, he suffered a devastating injury causing him to give up professional baseball, ever since he's been a scout for the O's and hopefully will be able to carry this team back to the playoffs after a terrible season last year for the birds.

Tampa Bay - The Rays have just sent pitcher Edwin Jackson to their AL East division rivals, the Baltimore Orioles in a blockbuster deal that sends slugger Luke Scott and an undisclosed amount of cash to the aquatic floridians. The Rays finished dead last in the AL East last year and bringing another power hitting outfielder adds to what should be a very potent outfield with Carl Crawford and B.J. Upton. This team should rise sky high with this deal that was definitely favourable for both organizations.
