Bud Selig announces to the world that 2 expansion teams will be joining the Major Leagues. The Renegades, a local team based out of Hiram, Georgia will be a team of people with special needs (including autism, Aspberger's, etc.), along with other local rec players as well. The other team is the super-powerful Osaka Powerfuls, with every member of the team having all A ratings... The Renegades had managed to make enough money through Kickstarter and selling super rare items on eBay to start a new ball club in the MLB. Mr. Selig also announced that the Renegades will be playing in NL East, while Osaka is playing in AL West. How will the Renegades' first season go? We'll find out soon! |

After losing an exhibition game miserably to the Powerfuls (41-2), the captain and General Manager of the Renegades sends an email to Chuck James' work email and asks him to play for the team, and offers him a contract for the Majors. He accepts and the Renegades have new pitching staff to accompany "Thrash" on the Starting Rotation... The next day, the Renegades sign former Dodger star Hideo Nomo and former ace Matt Morris to contracts to also add to the pitching staff as well. The first game is about to go underway. We will find out what happens soon! |

The first game has been played out and the Renegades win it 13-2! W: Matt Morris L: Cole Hamels Matt Morris strikes out 7, while Thrash strikes out 9. No home runs were hit on either side. Renegades were hitting back to back to back to back singles to win the game. Most of the players have 1 TRJ and G ratings. Game 2: REN 16 - PHI 6 W: Hideo Nomo (REN) L: Jamie Moyer (PHI) HR: Shoichi Yamazaki (R) (REN), Jimmy Rollins (PHI) Player of the Game: Taylor Duncan (R) Game 3: REN 0 - NYM 1 W: Orlando Hernandez (NYM) L: Matt Morris (REN) HR: None Player of the Game: Orlando Hernandez throws a shut out. Matt Morris strikes out 13. Game 4: REN 10 - NYM 14 W: Aaron Heilman (NYM) L: Shoichi Yamazaki (REN) HR: Jose Reyes (1) Injured: Taylor Duncan (Elbow pain) Steve Thrash (Elbow pain) Notes: Matt Morris was placed in Center field and after a tired Nomo pitched until injured, Shoichi Yamazaki came in to pitch and gave up several runs. It was a terrible game. |
